Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.
How? The changes on ICE are that the diesels will have to meet the Nox limit of the Petrol reached in Euro 6 and the length of time cars have to meet the emissions level will be increased from 5 years to 10 Londoners will still be able to drive a twenty year old Jaguar into the ulez zone. Unless Khan moves the goalposts All the other changes will apply to all cars including BEV

Sat Nav destination loss
If it's a red heart and they are not there when you scroll, i think you are right, they will not appear later. But what you may be able to do is looking at the area on the map , zoom in and touch the destination and add it to favourites now.

Sat Nav destination loss
Strange. the second link was from Skoda website https://digital-manual.skoda-auto.com/w/en_GB/welcome Can you use the map on the system to search? by pinching and scrolling the screen. If you move it about to the area where you know you previously saved a destination there should be a Flag on it?

Sat Nav destination loss
Where they saved to Last destinations or Favourites? I am thinking from the way i read the instruction book that "last destinations" automatically keeps all last destinations entered up to a max 50, these i imagine would be overwritten once the capacity reached. Destinations can also be stored in "Destination memory" and "favourites" max 50 which i expect it would tell you when full If you stored them from a vcard they should be in "destination memory" or "Favourites", but is that where you are looking for them? Apologies if you have tried all this but your post just mentions "stored" but not in which list. You have not stated checking the "favourites" list

Decent deal?

- Mechatronic unit failure .. :(
Mechatronics units in wet dual clutch semi automatic gearboxes that are not serviced will fail.- 12v cover in boot
Now i have seen the "fitted" picture Did you take the cover off then put it back on? @Shuggyboatsuperb Does it go through a hole in the side of the ring around the socket. That should be simple to put back. Take the lid off, bend the bottom pin into the slot. poke it through hole then refit the lid.- Service costs
The need for it probably depends upon how long you wish to keep the car. If you don't intend too keep it long you can get away with neglecting it. You will move on before the car has the issues you give it. Even with 80,000 ? service interval it would not mean 12 years. If a high mileage motorway user (less gear changes/less gearing wear) i would personally not go over 4 year Up to 80,000 miles. Lower mileages per year i would go for 4 years. The quality of the oil is important, it is the Swarf that degrades the oil and contaminates the solenoids in the mechatronic unit. In use they magnetise and those pesky metal filings stick them up and cause gearchange failures. Reports of missing gears and no reverse or clunking when changing I wonder why different manufacturers have different schedules for the same gearboxes? Maybe they know their target market. That aside my post in this thread was just to highlight that the gearbox service if and when required was not covered by the plan.- Service costs
The first quote in my post referred to a car with a DSG The third quote recommended an All in plan My post highlighted that the said plan does not include the DSG service cost which i believe is around £300 from what the 2nd quote has said.- Service costs
- 12v cover in boot
My assumption is that it is the tension in the spring that has been lost. So if the short bit does "locate" in that little lug at the top. when it came out the spring would have spun. The long bit at the bottom is too long to have moved in that way. it is the only moving part in the fitting Hopefully someone has a picture.- 12v cover in boot
The way i see it The short protrusion at the top of the spring has come out of the little bit coming down from the top? If you use long nose pliers to hold the longer protrusion of the spring away from the lid whilst positioning the top part of the spring back in, it will create the tension needed to spin the cover back closed.?????????? Depending upon which engine is in your car having the integrated wiring with the 13pin socket could help the resale of the vehicle in future. Decent cars that can tow caravans are getting harder to find every year.- Nextbase rear dashcam Installation
