  1. I cannot find any rules that the section with the country identifier has to have a blue background You have an identifier UK in both images and one flag above it which is correct. https://www.gov.uk/displaying-number-plates/flags-identifiers-and-stickers So i would expect them to be legal assuming the tiny print on the plate identifies who supplied them.
  2. You must display the UK identifier when driving a UK-registered vehicle abroad. If your number plate includes the UK identifier with the Union flag (also known as the Union Jack), you do not need a UK sticker. However, you will need to display a UK sticker clearly on the rear of your vehicle if your number plate has any of the following: a GB identifier with the Union flag a Euro symbol a national flag of England, Scotland or Wales numbers and letters only – no flag or identifier If you’re in Spain, Cyprus or Malta, you must display a UK sticker no matter what is on your number plate. So the uk does not need to be on the plate itself. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/driving-in-the-eu#uk-stickers-and-number-plates
  3. Would you ride the clutch of a manual to stop yourself rolling backwards on a hill?
  4. If you have it it will be here at (I)
  5. Are there any numbers on the key or lock barrel? Witter You will find the key number engraved on the barrel of the lock either on your towbar where you insert the key, or, engraved on the side of your key. The engraving will start with TR. Westfalia You will find a series of numbers engraved on the barrel of the lock on your towbar, either where you insert the key or engraved on your key. If there are 5 numbers engraved on the barrel of the lock, take the last two numbers and put 2W in front of them to purchase the right key. If there is a 3 digit number on the barrel of the lock then you will need to go to a service centre that has a set of master keys to find out the right key number.
  6. I can only think it is to do with how the fuel is produced, i have never seen 91 ron fuel on a pump. Australia appears to add ethanol to it and it raises the Ron to 94 Europe adds ethanol to 97 ron fuel and reduces the ron to 95. Therefore i would say that Volkswagen are happy for their cars to run on 10% ethanol but not happy for the engine to have 94 Ron put in it because they are tuned to run on fuel with a minimum Octane rating of 95. So are not recommending using ethanol blended fuels in Australia.
  7. I think there are two different issues. The seals are probably compatible with the percentage of Ethanol but "Volkswagen" set the cars up for 95% Ron and in Aus their fuel does not meet that.
  8. Volkswagen say 95 0r 98 Ron so they care about the Octane https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/en/need-help/need-help-faqs/fuel.html
  9. In Australia https://www.nsw.gov.au/driving-boating-and-transport/e10-fuel/e10-facts#toc-e10-is-94-ron https://www.shell.com.au/motorists/go-well-content-hub/fuel-for-thought-which-one-should-you-choose.html
  10. Not sure but would i be right in thinking you believe it should be done on "this date" every year?
  11. It's an awkward thing to set up when whatever you do now you will have to wait until October to see if it works.
  12. Does it have both options "use gps" and ""automatic dst"? If so don't select both?
  13. So it does sound like the phone trying to connect twice is causing the problem. It connects wirelessly from memory settings in it's wireless networks before you have time to plug it in.
  14. My car is not a skoda but it gets it's time from GPS i have to push a button twice a year it's not a big deal.
  15. If you mainly use the cable
  16. be a problem for me because i have a multiple socket extension that plugs into the 12v socket with 4 usb adaptor plugs in it. For satnav, dashcam and two e-cigs 😂
  17. Is there only a 12v socket in the boot, none in the cabin?
  18. With ""front parking assister" not working i would also check fuse 32 maybe the feed for the towbar wiring relay (if there is one) was taken from the parking sensors? Probably end up having to check all the fuses
  19. Dashboard fusebox fuse 28,38 and 44 are those the ones missing. https://ownersmanuals.blob.core.windows.net/ownersmanuals/en/Superb_3V/11-2015/OwnersManual.pdf If it's an aftermarket towbar could there be a relay box in the boot that supplies the power to lamps when activated,, maybe a fuse there?
  20. the plug on the trailer wires are subject to movement and the weather, oxidation . a couple of times i have had to re-do the connections in the plug on my caravan for one wire or another for individual lamps, but the earth wires would stop the lot.
  21. My guess: Have you tried both usb ports. It maybe the phone trying to connect for data via cable in a charge only usb port?
  22. Earth wire in the trailer plug?
  23. You just reminded me of this
  24. it's a absolutely beautiful car and the price you have set does not sound unreasonable when looking at autotraders offers (£7,200 - £11,500) with different mileages. You are probably in the same boat as me i have a low mileage 14 plate car with a dual clutch automatic and they have two significant problems with selling. The DSG and Euro 5 diesel everyone is wary and the dealers will rob you blind. I am slowly coming to the decision that my car is worth more to me than what i can sell it for and unless i was buying new i could be buying someone else's problems on the 3 to 4 yo market. If it was my car i would keep it, with all that specification what are you gaining by changing? But good luck if you are committed to selling it, but it may be a struggle for a private seller to find a buyer at the price you want being unable to offer finance options etc. I hope i am wrong. P.S (i would add a picture of the dashboard dials with the engine running, some will find it suspicious by it's absence )
