Selnec existed before Greater Manchester existed and was operated by the Council. Later to become GM buses in 1974, privatised in 1994 then sold off in 1996. From what i remember.- Approved used 2015 VRS, can anyone give me some advice please?
Maybe if people understood how hard and fast the mechatronic unit works, with no jerking all you see is a flick of the rev counter and hear the engine note change. They will understand the value in keeping the oil clean. This video actually explains about why to keep your foot firmly on the brake pedal at lights. neutral if it's going to be long, but when he drives you see the speed of the "smooth" gear changes- Decent deal?
I remember a story in early 1980's when "rear fogs" became a mandatory fitment. There was a dealer caught out because they had to fit lamps slung under the rear bumper. It was discovered he had a yard with "new" cars stored that where well over twelve months old, some with visible rust underneath. This can be checked with the vin numbers.. Legislation has since tightened up on this but i still think almost 12 months is possible.- Approved used 2015 VRS, can anyone give me some advice please?
I have no doubt that the DSG will probably last to the end of the warranty period and do the 40,000 miles without servicing. But after 8 years the oil in that mechatronic unit could be sludge compared to fresh oil There will be a few losses and upset customers complaining due to failure. But loads saved on the service plan inclusive prices. But once the £4,000 gamble is mine i would be making sure it had been serviced and pay the £200/300 every 4 years instead. But i have never been lucky in the Casino either.- Approved used 2015 VRS, can anyone give me some advice please?
I personally would hope the DSG had been serviced at 4 year old and would expect the second service to be due this year, Potentially 8 years without being serviced, look for evidence in it's service history. Not covered by a service plan from what i have read it is classed as Maintenance and an additional cost of between £200/300 Make sure you drive the car before purchase. If you notice it changing gear other than the rev counter changing, no jerks etc. i would keep looking- Decent deal?

The company will/should probably have issued a fuel/charging card for whilst at work? Businesses/Employers Capital allowances: sole traders, partnerships and companies From April 2021 electric vehicles are eligible for 100% First-year capital allowances. As they are allocated to the main pool and not separate pools (assuming no private use) there may not be a balancing charge on disposal. The 130% Super-deduction available for companies between April 2021 and March 2023 does not apply to electric cars but does apply to commercial vehicles which would be eligible for plant and machinery allowances such as vans, lorries, tractors and taxis. Electric vehicle charging points are eligible for 100% allowances. The private use element should not be overlooked here as this may lead to the asset having to be separately pooled for CA purposes. See also Vehicles (4 wheels): Allowances and Vehicles (2 or 3 wheels): Allowances Benefits In Kind Normal Benefit In Kind rules apply to electric cars and vans provided to employees and the rates of tax depend on the level of CO2 emissions. For 2023-24 this is 2% of the list price. The list price must include the price of the battery. The rules are more complex when it comes to charging electric cars as it depends on whether the car is a company car or a private car, how the car is used and who provides the electricity supply. See Car charging benefits tab. The usual rules apply regarding reimbursement of fuel costs, see Employees below and Car charging benefits tab. The current Rate per mile for a company-provided electric vehicle is 10p per mile (9p between 1 June 2023 and 1 September 2023). Where the employee uses their own car the mileage rate is the same as for a petrol or diesel car i.e. 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, then 25p. The electric vehicle employee owner-driver can also claim 5p per mile for each passenger they take on the same business journey. The 9p you refer to is what the Company have to use as the BIK rate.- the truth about electric cars

Interesting. The Trucks will use 60kw per hour Tachograph limits to 4.5hrs so as long as the battery is 300kw and can be charged backup with a 350kwh charger in the 45 minute break. It is just a matter of getting enough chargers in the right places.- Skoda rapid 2013 air blower not working on 1,2,3, settings but works on number 4 , ive been told its the blower resistor pack needs replacing and is behind the glove box , ive just had a quote today for new part and fitting , how much on average
It's not overly expensive, once you have paid it someone will tell you it could have been done cheaper. That happens when you buy anything. At that price i doubt it''s the Skoda supplied part but it probably won't be the £8 ones on ebay. It will be from his preferred motor factors supplier. The garage has probably allowed £20 for the part and £50 for Labour plus vat.- Skoda rapid 2013 air blower not working on 1,2,3, settings but works on number 4 , ive been told its the blower resistor pack needs replacing and is behind the glove box , ive just had a quote today for new part and fitting , how much on average
Blower resistor packs are available on ebay from £8 upwards a genuine Skoda one would be around £80 Pretty simple for a DIY capable person to do it at home if they have some basic tools. Garage rates for labour vary considerably You give no clue to your quoted price or whether the quote was for genuine parts fitted or aftermarket parts. Shouldn't take longer than an hour. All depends on if you think you could do it or how much you value your own time. - Rogue cable in boot area.
