I've got the same, and yes, they are bloody noisy! Also, they seem to offer little to no grip :/ The number of wheelspins I have experienced is insane! (and not from me slamming my foot down)

Hi all, I keep getting “high voltage battery low” or “empty”. Any ideas? I have a Octavia I’ve estate (hybrid) so unsure if this relates to hybrid battery being empty or the 12v going flat. Car is 3 and a half years old. had a Google but could not find anything!

Is there any evidence you can point to (or I can point them to) as proof of it being a design flaw?

I had the "error: cooling system" "please visit workshop" message pop up last Saturday. I managed to get into the dealership today, and they confirmed the heating element has gone. The car is 3 years and 6 months old. (Octavia estate IV 2021) So my warranty had run out. £1350 to fix 🤢

39-42 miles is very impressive. I get 30… 31max. Never seen it above 31.

I have exactly the same issue on my 2021 I’ve. Anything above 50mph and I can’t hear my passengers speaking!! This is the loudest car I’ve ever owned. It’s like a droning noise? Which makes me think it’s the engine not the tyres.

What are you guys using to remove all the gunk left behind by the old badge? And how are you sticking the new badge to the car? I’m interested in changing mine but worried it’ll fall off at a car wash or something.

I’ve not seen any reason for updating yet. There are no additional features? Is that right? I’ve not had a single issue since updating to 1941.

Odd I had this same thing happen last Friday. Nothing updated (still on 1941). Just turned on the car and all settings gone. Frustrating!

Wow I’ve never seen 34/34 miles after charging. My seems to default to 22 miles every time. I charge daily.

Thanks guys. Very informative replies. SkOmk4 that link to the SEAT forum describes exactly the same issue. Good find! I will stop turning the car off and on again to enable electric mode I might drop the car into my local dealer tomorrow to see if they can diagnose the problem.

Has anybody else had an issue where on starting the car it'll sometimes go straight into "hybrid" mode (rather than electric) and the engine will start running. I've had this happen numerous times (maybe 1 in 8 starts?) and every time it's happened i've had over 50% charge left on the battery. Yesterday it happened to me at 100% charge. I often find myself turning the car on and off again to get back into electric (as you cant select electric mode when in hybrid) but i was wondering if there is an actual reason for the car doing this? I did a quick search but could not find a similar topic. Apologies if this has been discussed before!

Do you have any advice on doing this? I'm looking to change the white caps i have to black. Do i need to remove the glass first? (i hope not). I tried to find a video online (or instructions) but could not find anything.

In the last week (since the 1941 update) I’ve only been able to get 24 miles from a full charge. That sound normal?

Annoyingly i've managed to drop the long screw found in the bonnet latch area. Does anybody know what that screw is for? (and will i get away without it?) I've tried to fish it out but i cant find it. It looks to have dropped between the front grill and the radiator (behind the sensor?). I have a 2021 IV hybrid estate. Image attached.

Is there any chance that more features might be added to the "functions on demand" area of the Skoda connect shop? I have a 2021 skoda octavia estate - 1.4 TSI iV 13kWh SE Technology DSG and the only feature i can see is the "high beam control (light assist)" priced at. £179. Might there be more added at a later date or do we think that's it for the car?

I think that's because i'm not subscribed to the "Infotainment Online" package in the shop? it reads like you only get the latest map updates if you pay for that... and seeing as i use waze via carplay, i dont see the need.
