  1. Does your car support connection over Wi-Fi? I know lot of VW group systems can. Try connecting via a laptop hotspot with a network analyser. I’ve always assumed the app works as you suggest but ny current car doesn’t support it. When I get the replacement I’ll try this.
  2. Still waiting on my order but from my memory of the test drive…. No SD card slots any more and only USB-C ports. So either get a USB-C to A adapter and a USB-C SD card adapter. Or move to playing music through blue tooth,CarPlay, Android Auto from your phone. You can get at the on line manual via https://www.skoda.co.uk/apps/manuals/models. Though there is not much detail. By the way when did you order?
  3. How did you get the reference to set up Škoda connect? It would be good to try this out on my order.
  4. It seemed on the demonstrator I tried that if you pushed the left directional slider all the way to the right and the right all the way to teh left it cutr off the rear air.
  5. I went for black interior. I stuck with the default wheels. I've currently got an A4 which had a reputation as a vefry quiet e=interior and I think the Superb was similar. With the DCC Pro it was a smooth ride.
  6. Also managed to find a dealer with an L&K demonstrator for a test drive. I had the same thought with the wierd square drivers display. I couldn't see the ugly corners when I was driving as the steering wheel blocked the view of them. The ribbed dashboard isnt to my taste but you cant have everything perfect. On a postive note the cooled seats were very effective in the heat we had on Monday. Have put in an order for an L&K 2.0 TSI plus HUD. Sadly quoted 21 weeks lead time. So it looks like a christmas present.
  7. Nice looking cars. Did a test drive today but couldnt get the Adaptive Cruise Control to take notice of spped limit signs, Do yours change the cruise control target speed when you go into say a 30 limit?
  8. BMW i5 is available as an estate. But it's another step up in cost.
  9. Any PHEV seen in the UK yet? I’m interested to try one to see if it’s a good compromise towards electric drive. Other than ID7 I don’t see much in the way of similar capacity estates that are pure electric.
  10. Interesting to see there is a 2.0l 4x4 petrol as well. I wasn't expecting that.
  11. Looks great. Did you see if the dealer had any demo stock?
  12. The UK brochure lists a USB-C by the mirror as standard.
  13. I still feel the need to test drive before ordering myself. But I’ve never owned a PHEV before. I’m also not convinced about the rectangular drivers display under a curved hood.
  14. The spec sheet I downloaded shows a WLTP range of 77 miles for the Superb which is not bad. I guess a Golf does better.
  15. I built this example L&K spec up while the configurator was available. Yes its the 1.5 TSi + electric car-card-C99L98YY.pdf
  16. It breifly appeared in the configurator this week but its gone again. Probably someone enabled the model too early.
  17. Good to hear things are moving at the factory. It will be interesting to hear what you think of the performance of the 1.5 compared to what you have.
  18. The only indication I have seen is that the PHEV will be available in the UK. The Passat is available for order in the UK with the 1.5 petrol.
  19. Skoda UK web site is offering Virtual Tours of the Skoda this coming week. You can book a 15 minute session. https://www.skoda.co.uk/discover/live-tour
  20. Any news on a UK launch date?
