Skoda approved purchase, but only had one key. Full refund?
If they don’t come up with the second key, speak to the dealer principal to see if they will supply one foc. If not buy one. The car is not faulty if otherwise it is ok. You need to chase them rather than be dismayed when they haven’t contacted you.

Does My Car Have the Virtual Pedal?
Correct. Almost like a kicking motion rather than a waving motion, in the centre of the rear

Hi from the Scottish Highlands
Relatives stay in Drumnadrochit, high up overlooking the loch. That would have been a good drive back.

Richmond Skoda Portsmouth (Brake fluid change)
In March, my local independent was £65 + vat, so £78. Henrys, my Skoda dealer was £75. They got the job, no other work at that time.

Space Saver Spare Wheel
Yes, about £43 more expensive, but kit 57A093860B is no use for the full size space saver, which many people want. I paid £140 for the full size space saver kit, 57A093860C, which included fitting by my local Škoda dealer.

Space Saver Spare Wheel
Just for clarity, the kit 57A093860C, also fits the 2WD Karoq, enabling a full size space saver wheel to be carried. It sits flush with the boot floor on my 24 Sportline. It does not come with the correct length plastic locking screw, but has not been a problem for me. I think the longer Locking Screw for a Passat will do.

You may be right, but I would also have a chat with your local bodywork repair shop and your local Skoda dealer. You might get a faster response.

New Kodiaq owner, looking for advice?
I'm certain you would need to explore the correct avenues before any claim by your CC provider would be accepted. Others may have a different experience

New Kodiaq owner, looking for advice?
You could tell the dealer you could exercise your rights under CRA2015 and reject the car, but you would rather he took the sensible approach and fixed the washer jet and door handle. Give it to him verbally and by email if need be. He wont fund the cost of the battery, a consumable. Section 75 will not work for you at present.

You won’t get costs returned, but ask the dealer to arrange fixes of the minor issues. Assuming it was a dealer and not a private sale.

Sold a Damaged 2019 Moon White Skoda Octavia Vrs 245. May be back up for sale ?
Replacing / painting a door, if that’s what happened, would have no relevance to any HPI declaration. It is also unlikely a car would be declared a total loss as a result of a damaged outer sill. Buying a used car can be a minefield, hence the need to be vigilant in pre-purchase examinations.

Buy
The Sportline version of the Karoq offers little, if any, improved performance than other model designations in the range. The Sportline designation is all about how the car looks. If you’re moving to a Karoq from a VRS then performance shouldn’t be a consideration. The Karoq though, is a good choice of SUV.

Cabin pollen filter direction query
Ah OK, the arrow points downwards on any car I've replaced the air filter. This indicates the air flows down.
-
Cabin pollen filter direction query
The new replacement filter clearly indicates the air flow direction, to ensure correct fitment.

Holes in sill….both sides…same location?
The lines look too straight to be corrosion. Is it not just the end of the inner sill ?

Replacement Shocks?
If the MoT was carried out at a VW/Skoda dealer, then my view is this is an an attempt at upselling you a pair of Shock Absorbers. A few years ago I had my Civic Type R in at a Honda main dealer for a health check. Two rear shockers were advised due to list misting, so they must have a small leak. Took the car to my local Halfords to double check, your shockers are fine I was told. (Made a change from Halfords recommending parts replacement when not required.)

Acceptable levels of 'cracking'?
Tyres are 17 years old, is that right ? I think they are long overdue a change. Most guidelines reckon 10 year old tyres mean it’s time they were changed, no matter mileage.
