  1. So for the cars produced in Q4/2019 AND Q1/2020, the navigation is a FEC code (00071c00), you gotta find the TPI somewhere with the VIN and the unique code provided by the VAG Group. So if you are having 0156 already, you cannot update to 0156 again... You must install a 02xx software ( don't know the right version for you ). There are some other TPIs that are guiding you through the required software versions which you have to install and also to install the Nav script.
  2. Hi, why are you looking after this software version? The very first MIB3 units for Skoda, launched in Q4/2019 and Q1/2020, were released with this version.
  3. Hey, what is the format for your USB Stick? Is it exFAT or NTFS or FAT32? Also, you're using a USB stick which is having a USB-C connector directly or are you using an older USB stick with an USB-C adapter?
  4. Hey, I am looking to swap my MIB3 unit with a SH MIB3 unit due to corrupt maps that cannot be fixed. Current unit OEM code: 3V0 035 816 B ( PREH unit ) I noticed the following units have been installed on several other models as well ( PREH units as well ): 3V0 035 816 [A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | G | K | L | M | N | O | P | Q] 3V0 035 820 [A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | G | K | L | M | N | O | P | Q] I have 2 questions: Unit having OEM code starting with 3V0 035 820 are compatible with my car as well? Newer units (mostly starting from the letter H) are JOYNEXT units. Are they compatible or I should stick with whatever PREH unit I can get? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi Gisco, So your suggestion is to have the unit replaced if I understand correctly? Also, what is the thing with this "OCU", is this the cause why the maps are stuck to 23.6 on my unit? Do you think my OCU could be faulty? It's a bit frustrating because all the other things are working really well, without any other issues. I have read topics with people saying they are having an "infinite loading" issue, or they can't become the primary users or the Care Connect is not fully working. For me, it's just the maps that are broken, nothing else.
  6. Hi mate, Yes, I am the main user. Care Connect working fine, actually everything else is working fine, just the maps are broken.

Hello @Rainesh and everyone, I will be pleased if you could help with a piece of advice about a problem that I have with my MIB3 unit from a Skoda Superb iV MY2020. So, I'm seeing 2 cities from Cyprus (always same 2 cities) in random places everywhere on the maps, and they appear mostly when I zoom out. Maps are stuck to 23.6. Tried with offline update via USB, also with Infotainment Online, no change, no new road appeared, nothing. Swap codes are looking good, the 00071c00 appears to be installed and valid. While navigating throughout other countries, maps are looking.. not great, not terrible, however, navigating through Cyprus is a total mess (please see the attached picture). The unit was updated by dealer from 0156 -> 0278 -> 0308 -> 0330 by dealership. OCU also updated. I managed to update to 0332 recently, update ended successfully and the emmc ended with status "New", however, nothing changed on the maps. Connected with ODIS, tried to format the Navigation Data Bank, but every time I tried to start the operation, it would just return "Incorrect Results" as the outcome and won't do anything. Do you guys think there is anything that could be done further at this point or the maps will be "bricked" forever on this unit? Regards, Alex
  8. Hey, I have a Superb iV from 2020 and my MIB3 unit was updated from 0156 -> 0278 -> 0308 -> 0330 by the dealership in Germany. OCU also updated. I'm having a problem with the maps, I'm seeing 2 cities from Cyprus (always same 2 cities: Limassol and Nicosia) in random places everywhere on the map, and they appear mostly when I zoom out. Maps are stuck to 23.6. Tried with offline update via USB, but also with Infotainment Online, no change, no new road appeared, nothing. 9. Hello, I have a Skoda Superb 3 PHEV (MY2020) with a DSG DQ400E gearbox. It has about 38500 km and I read that it is recommended to do an DSG oil change every 60000 km or 5 years. Today, I have asked a local dealership for an estimated cost for this maintenance, and I was surprised to see they're going to charge me for an oil filter change (OEM code: 0GC325183D). From my research, I understand that the oil filter can be changed only if you actually take out the gearbox and the manufacturer recommends to do that only if there are other problems with the gearbox. Can you please share some specific details about how the DSG oil change should be done for this gearbox? I'm really afraid at this point to take my car to a dealership without actually knowing and confirming if what they're going to do is actually safe or not.
  10. Hey, I've been waiting literally for months with the USB stick connected in every journey, and the maps are not updating. I got a spare USB Type-C Stick and don't really use it so it's been connected to the car since Oct/Nov 2024 when I had my very first attempts to update the maps.
  11. Hi folks, I bought a Superb 3 iV MY2020 last year and I got it with SW 0330 already installed. Everything is working good, except for some issues with the maps: 1. Maps are stuck on 23.6 - can't get them updated neither with Infotainment Online Subscription nor with Offline Update via USB Stick 2. Some maps are completely missing for couple Eastern Europe countries ( ex. Hungary, Serbia ) 3. Various cities from Cyprus appear when driving in Romanian countryside areas ( please see second and third photo ) My question is: can I do anything at this point to solve this issue or my MIB3 unit is bricked? Please see the first photo with the update history.
  12. Hey folks, I have a Superb iV 2020 L&K with "Sound System" setup ( not CANTON ... ). It's a bit better than the standard sound setup (10 speakers), however, I am missing a subwoofer. I noticed that I have some space available under the front passenger seat and I was thinking if I could fit a pre-amplified subwoofer there. However, I'm not sure if that would fit well along the other speakers and the amplifier that is under driver's seat ( I have attached a photo with the amp part code ). Has anyone tried to install this kind of subwoofer? Can it mess with the existing amplifier? I don't have much knowledge about this stuff. Thanks!
  13. Hey folks! I'm gonna have to do the annual maintenance on my Superb iV. I've got a note with the previous oil that was used (Volkswagen Original IV 0W-20). However, I am trying to get the OEM products for the air & oil filters. Does anyone know the specific codes for these parts or has any suggestion for good quality filters? I have done a quick research and I found several codes for the oil filter: 1. 04E 115 561 AC 2. 04E 115 561H Both look pretty much the same, however, I'm not sure which one truly fits. Thanks.
  14. That might be the best option, however that grille was very difficult to be pulled out at least in my case, and that plastic can snap if it bends too much. I would recommend option nr. 3 on my list from prev comment if OP is struggling with the grille.
  15. Hey! I had to replace one of the cornering lights due to condensation on my Superb. Basically you have 3 options: 1. Remove that piece of grille that surrounds the fog lamp and try to adjust it this way -> best option, but I could not done that, was IMPOSSIBLE to take out that piece of grille without breaking it since... well... it's plastic... 2. Remove the whole front bumper and you get full access to the fog lamp -> might involve too much effort, not recommended in my opinion! 3. Remove the wheel + wheel hull and access the fog lamp from behind ( you'll need an elevator for that ) -> you'll have enough access to replace or adjust the fog lamp with minimal effort in my opinion. Good luck!
  16. Hi folks, It's been almost 3 months and I noticed there is a weird squeaking noise coming from the right strut of the tailgate of my Superb. Please check the attached video. 20241208_162333.mp4 Do you have any solution for it?
  17. Well I'm already using the climate control feature from MySkoda App so by the time I'm leaving my house and getting into the car, the windshield and most of the screens are already defrost so that's not really the issue and per my understanding, this feature uses the high-voltage battery. However, my concern was related to the fluids that the ICE is using, if any pre-warm before the actual take off would make any sense or not.
  18. I currently live in Romania, but in the area where I live, the temperatures are usually much lower throughout the year, and especially during winter. So far, this year, the lowest recorded was about -9, but I am expecting even lower temperatures in Dec/Jan. As you said, I am taking it easy when I take off, but this is more like my usual driving style, if I can call it like that. You kinda guessed right, I have heard that this might be a recommended practice for petrol/diesel engines, however if that's not the case here, then probably I should disregard this kind of concerns that aren't really concerns. "Modern engine longevity owes a lot to the use if heated front and rear screens in winter." - might sound dumb, but how the longevity of the engine is related to the use of front and rear screens in winter?
  19. Hey folks! Superb iV 2020 owner. I was wondering for quite a while if there's any chance to force the car to use the petrol engine with battery charged more than 20%. I know that in winter season, it's recommended to warm up the fluids, before you actually start driving and since I have to travel more than 80km every couple of days, this is really concerning for me because I am gonna use the ICE eventually and since I am driving mostly in "Hybrid - Auto", the car starts using the ICE when I am accelerating a bit more but the ICE starts this way with no pre-warm and needs to deliver the power required to maintain & increase the speed, and I'm afraid that's gonna harm the engine in time. How do you guys drive your Superbs iV during winter? Do you know any trick to force the ICE to start after ignition even if the battery is sufficiently charged? What I have tried so far, but no results: - After ignition, while in Park, press the e-mode button, then set it to hybrid and set the charge level to the max. - After ignition, while in Park, press mode button and set active mode to Sport.
  20. Happened to me as well! I've tried Infotainment Online for 1 month and I got to drive a lot then, still, no new roads appeared! But the rest of features were available, like busy road warning signs, road under construction signs, etc. You need to visit a Skoda Service asking them to rewrite the maps, otherwise I'm not sure if we're able to do anything else really at this point!
  21. I don't think so. The MIB3 guide explicitly says: Connect the USB Flash Disc to your vehicle (only in the front part of the vehicle).
  22. Hey, a new version of maps have just appeared and MartiniB shared a link for it. The new archive is called OI_P129_EU_202448_Offline_Update and it contains a folder named OI_P129_EU_202448_Offline_Update with 710 other files in it. As per my understanding from the guide, on the USB Stick you should paste the 710 files directly, so these 710 files should NOT be inside the OI_P129_EU_202448_Offline_Update folder in the USB Stick.
  23. I was actually referring to the capacitive sensor that is much more convenient on the new 2024 Superb than the one we've got on ours. I believe the sensor we have does not actually detect your hands on the wheel, but rather any movements you are doing (so the pressure you are applying). If you have watched any videos with the new 2024 Superb, just a slight tap on the steering wheel is necessary
  24. Hey, I can provide some answers from my experience with my Superb iV 2020 L&K: 1. This shouldn't be normal, usually I am not using auto-hold, unless it's a really busy road then usually I am braking, then on full stop I activate the auto hold and release the brake pedal 2. Might be worth checking the fuel rattle 3. I also have some rattle coming from the left piece of ****ty piano plastic that's below the virtual cockpit. I had a friend that deals with detailing stuff and he managed to take out every plastic & virtual cockpit cluster to trynna tighten things there. Still have some rattle here and there, not so noticeable tho. 4. While using android auto, I can switch radio stations. However, I don't have any control over the music I'm listening from YT. 5. Welcome to the club! I see you have SD card, I don't have any SD card slot, but only a USB Type-C port in the front console but still, I am facing the same issue! I got the car with navigation database version 23.6, and I tried literally everything and I'm stuck with it ( I went to several Skoda services, however their tech guys are usually looking dumb at my car saying they have no idea what's wrong ) 6. I had a lot of lag as well... and other connectivity issues with Skoda Connect ( Skoda Digital Services are a joke btw ). Please remove the fuse F17 from the fuse panel (located behind the storage compartment on the driver's side), then leave it for 10 minutes ( SOS led should turn off ), then plug the fuse back. It says it's the fuse for the instrument cluster aka virtual cockpit, but generally speaking, this is more like a hardware reset - please check: https://vwts.ru/forum/topic/247212/ 7. Get used to it! There is no capacitive sensor on the steering wheel ( they put that on the Superb 2024, eventually... ) so if that bothers you, deactivate it! 8. Also get used to it.
  25. Hey! I tried with a USB Stick Type-C (256GB) and a USB Stick Type-A (64GB) with adaptor to Type-C but maps don't want to update at all for me 😞 I think there is something really wrong with my maps, I had Infotainment Online subscription active for 1 month (trial), and while I could see the other features (busy roads warning sign on certain streets, under construction road sign, etc.), my maps still appear to be 23.6. I am driving on missing roads too, which do not seem to appear even with the Infotainment Online subscription. From what I had read on other topics, I think Skoda service is able to kind of force update both software version & maps but the Skoda services in Romania can't handle this kind of issues on my car made for Germany. When I'll move to Germany next year, I hope I'll get to the autohaus from where I bought the car which is also Skoda Plus certified and hopefully, they will help me fix this issue.
