  1. I've tried the N75J on my car that has the surging, and the surging now is much more noticeable. It was so bad that I went back to the the N75 OEM.
  2. I think a BUMP is required for this considering is up in the next few days... I don't know my plans for the weekend yet, but might make it depending on SWMBO

    top gear show

I belive the only tickets left are the €105 tickets. Total rip off. I'd rather spend it on a trackday.
  4. I presume it had a hearse glued to its bum.... Took it for a spin and it is kinda fast. It was nice knowing you (you know who you are ) cause its gonna kill you.
  5. Well done. Any pics of the finished job? Whaere did you get it? I've been trying to find one that delivers to Ireland but am having trouble...
  6. Went to Cosford Air Museum last year at a slightly cheaper price......free.... They had a Vulcan and a spectaular cold War exhibition. a must see if you've got a day to spare and nothing to do.
  7. Hi John,

No problem. I'm available in the evenings if that suits. I'm not too far away, only in Artane so am only a 10 minute drive away. Send me a text /ring me to organise the time/place - 0868164566

  8. Aha....so thats what they're called! Its been on for just over a year now and recent activities I'm not suprised if they're worn out. I'll contact Awesome for some. Thanks guys
  9. Hi all, I've a Neuspeed rear Antiroll bar on the hearse and the bolt/nut with the rings on them seems to be a little faulty as it has seemed to have come apart on its own (there may have been a rock involved). I've attached a pic of the bolt. Anyone know where/how to get a replacement?
  10. I can't get off work unfortunately as my boss will be away :( If only Tra\x was a week earlier...
  11. I believe you have to change the details on the registration documents so that the appropriate amount of car tax can be applied. Also the insurance company will also need to know as they will void the insurance if you defraud them.
  12. Looking at those stats, everything looks fine. whats the contention ratio on the line? Perhaps your ISP is oversubscribed in your local telephone exchange? When downloading nothing, do a traceroute (or tracert in a Command prompt) to 4.2.2.2 (a nice easy DNS server in Germany) and check the response time to the first hop. Alternatively it could be elsewhere upstream in the ISP or Internet. Do you have a Wireless system? Its possible that someone has hacked it and is availing of your bandwidth and therefore slowing you down? I hope that you're not looking at bit torrent download speeds for testing? These are not accurate at all.
  13. Is it going to be like this everytime when Gaff looses??? @Gaff - To be honest I'm getting tired of you throwing the toys out of the pram when you don't win and its really getting old. :thumbdwn: There were marshals and video footage beamed to the commentary room that kept a close eye on all the action. If any of it was deemed to be dangerous then a black or black/white flag would have been given to the offender(s). The people running the track saw nothing but friendly rivally and did not penalise anyone. I don't mind you having a go at my driving. I had a bad kart that wouldn't turn right and I only found out when it wouldn't turn right on the first right-handed bend on the first lap of the final and subsequently careered into yours. It only happened the once and as soon as I knew the fault with the kart, I backed off for everyone' s safety. I'm extremely angry that you would associate me with causing big accidents I'm not saying I'm a perfect karter, far from it, but I don't intentionally drive into karts like bumper cars. I know that tipping someone in a kart apart from being dangerous slows me down and not the other karter and thats not how to drive in a race. I go out to have fun and if I win, its a bonous, like most people that attended. I am seriously considering not attending any more Karting events that you're a part of as everytime there's backlash after the event and gives the event a bad name.
  14. There's always a sore looser. I have to put it down to the state of the karts on the day. If you're afraid of a bit proper rivally then don't race :P Besides it isn't winning the day its the taking part and having fun that matters Yeah I was having a bit of fun with that kart, teasing you. Pity it had no brakes, but it had some drive....good old number 3.
  15. 1. Sounds like a bearing to me, but could also be a rubbing brake pad? (just throwing possibilities in here). 2. Sounds like the grearbox alright. I have that on my one. Just make sure that the gearbox oil is good and it should be fine....I hope. Cause if its not then I'll need a new one too :squint:
  16. Wow... only spotted the last few days posts now as I've been distracted with a certain wedding. I'll spread the word and try and get a few more over the next day or two.. @gaff - text me on Friday about the radios (i'll only forget )
  17. I watched him sit down on the laptop looking at this thread merely hours after waking up from his wedding night! He had a ball and no doubt everyone did. The second party was a Karoke night...and the "big booby gang" went down a ball.... I shall say no more.
  18. Don't speak ill of the dead :P Yeah, I've seen the receipts from my brother's collection. I'm glad I just borrow his lenses
  19. I picked up a 7 month old 30D with less than 3000 pics for 400 Euro and it included a Tamron 72-200mm lens. Admittantly its not the best, but it is a good start.
  20. Try Sigma Lenses. My brother and his friends swear by them... He's a 400D and his friend is a professional photographer and uses them with a 30D (All Canon EOS). I've an EOS 30D myself that I picked up on adverts.ie You'll find some great stuff there, if you're not afraid of second hand stuff.
