  1. This ist the newest Version: https://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.com/base/maps/HIGH2_P410_EU_202522.zip In this case, Skoda is even currently
  2. From my experience, the maps in the update portal are usually one version ahead of the most recent...and the update can be performed while driving. Repeated interruptions, etc., don't make any difference.
  3. What do you hope to achieve with this? You set this in the lighting channels in control unit 09.

  5. A new BCM triggers the CP error. If you install a used one, the CP must be adjusted, as well as the coding and data set if necessary.

  12. The Amundsen requires the SD card in the unit to navigate... the new full Europe map, however, requires a 32GB version. The original map, however, does. The device checks for a CID number on the SD card. If it's incorrect, the navigation system won't work. So, either buy an SD card with the correct CID number somewhere, or patch the device so that no CID query is performed...
  13. Do you have a photo of the sticker when it is still visible, or can you take a photo of the engraved serial number?

  15. @balazs955 Don't forget, every time you replace the unit, component protection is triggered. With a MIB 2 Std, it's easy to patch if you have firmware version until 04xx. Don't forget the coding on the vehicle... with the Octavia, if you have a MIB 1 and convert to MIB 2, you always need a patch, because an official function activation would never work. Component protection could, however, be made official.
  16. Buy a new used one if you have a coding tool. It's much easier to patch. You can also patch the component protection. You'd also have a navigation system then. But it has to be a mib2_std.
