How do you do the Immo and CP? Read the EEPROM file, edit it? ODIS online? Is it factory new? With used Virtual Cockpits, the factory now has to manually enter the VIN into the database, which is based on the VIN read by the tester.

Do you have an adapter for the wiring or are you changing the connector directly? The control unit without heating is wired differently than a module with heating.

So, I think the idea that OBD11 can modify the immobilizer is just a rumor. I use many systems, including VCDs and OBD11 with a free lifetime VAG Pro account. I don't see any advantage in VCDs. Yes, for newer users, the Pro account costs €80 annually. But let's be honest, this shouldn't hurt anyone financially...
