  1. What device do you have now, as been thinking about getting Carly, be nice to code the boot to shut via the button inside
  2. Thanks, my dealer no longer does the clean now, as when it went in I said not to clean it and they advise they no longer do that service. Thank goodness as them Skoda dealer is at the groups Audi dealer with an RS6 outside with bird poo on and a brand new RS3 in the showroom with swirl marks and scratches all over it
  3. The company local to us can do it which ever way, you take the car there and leave it, then do the wheels and then refit, there lead time is about 1.5/2 days currently Or you can take the wheels to them and then collect when finished Thanks started to do this on the cars I detail now haha
  4. After doing the gear knob yesterday I saw how dirty the interior was so this morning after doing my wife’s Mini, I set to work on the inside of mine.
  5. Found out that my screen replacement has been approved and is booked in for a few weeks time with the unit already in stock, another ticked off the list. This is on a Superb I might add with extended warranty
  6. Got round to doing the Gear Knob swap with the Mk7 Golf/other VAG, added the alcantara to the gear knob and also gaiter which now matches my steering wheel. Very happy with the result and can leave this area of the car alone now.
  7. The gaiter arrived this morning and had the Skoda gear knob off earlier, was a lot easier than I had thought, thanks to @Binx1310 for the manual to confirm. Had to trim the new gaiter as for a mk7, with then gluing on the new to existing Skoda surround to then mount in the DSG panel. Fitting the new gear knob was easy also and it came with a new metal clamp ring also. I am very happy with the results of these bits matching the steering wheel.
  8. Don't suppose you have the part number for this, can't see if on their website.
  9. I happened to visit the place where I will get mine done and they do a black undercoat with silver which looks really good rather than the brighter silver
  10. So the bouncy ride is no more B6 shocks and all new associated parts fitted today, has changed the feel of the car and I am over the moon with it. Feels so much improved with a more planted ride and the floaty feel gone. No more bouncing after going over a speed bump, I ensured I went over loads on the way home
  11. That’s what I am wanting to do to mine, unless I find some Cepeus wheels cheap haha Mine is a 2018 and they are Trinity on the spec list
  12. Car collected late afternoon and the drive home was Superb (see what I did there). Car feels totally transformed, with more planted stable ride and no bouncing after going over a speed bump with a more sporty ride every feels more taught but then everything should do. Garage doing the work said the B6’s piston are like double the size of the stock ones. Car seems to be a little higher but will take time to bed in
  13. Its being done today, had to drop off late yesterday so they have the car all day today to get it done, hoping nothing else is flagged whilst doing so. I can't wait, expect loads more driving if it does improve it, but the front bobby a few times are a speed bump is getting annoying.
  14. I had a Banner cheap battery fitted to my Superb which failed in the cold weather last year, this was from a Skoda dealership who had reviewed the car before purchase. With them quoting £280 for a replacement battery, which was then resolved over the phone when the AA arrived confirming that the Banner battery is not Skoda Approved and now I have a Yuasa battery, with the dealer paying AA via my phone.
  15. Does look a lot cleaner to when I saw it last week
  16. Thought I had posted here but guess not, so here is my Candy White 220ps on factory Trinity 19’s, Se L Executive with the (take off the fun stuff) Business pack
  17. My local Skoda dealershiop seem like they don't want to know, I have phoned them again this morning to ask what was done yesterday and that a Seat Tarraco I had didn't do this with more or less the same seat/function Also have phoned some other localish dealerships and waiting for a call back from one of them on the symptoms I am experiencing
  18. My can save the settings, I ge the bong etc but just it goes back up about 1cm so away from the extreme setting
  19. I think a repair unless you are having issues, but the wire doesn’t look too bad
  20. But why is Skoda the only one todo this? Never had it any other car, very annoying
  21. You could try electrical tape and then cloth tape, so it is better protected than just the cloth tape
  22. Car went into Skoda today for them to look at this. The tech said will try a firmware update, was told when collecting the car that it will be replaced under warranty but they just have to do the paperwork, came back to the car to find it on the Boost screen which this car shouldn’t have haha
  23. Car went to Skoda today for them to look at this, apparently it’s the extreme limit so it will reset each time Wondering if I can lock in that position with then the heated seat still working
  24. Springs are in at the garage doing the work Had a Kamiq today as car was in the garage, even that had better suspension than my Superb
  25. Thanks, have got all new Bilstein B6, tops mounts, bump stops, shocks and nuts/bolts Speaking with @Binx1310 when he collected the gaiter off me the ride is worse in mine, with 75k on the clock so hoping this really transforms the car This Thursday is when it’s all getting done, can’t wait
