  1. Not sure if you are around any more @Bigeater but would like to understand more on your remus back box system you had fitted, any pictures etc
  2. I don't suppose anyone knows the part number for the rear valance with the exhaust cut outs? In contact with my local PowerFlow centre but the person is on holiday currently so will wait for them to return
  3. Mine is a 220 so has the downward pipes out of the backbox, so I either need to add a step or new metal to the back box. I did enquire about the Supersprint system for this car but at over £2k I am not sure it's worth it, I would be happy with just those tips out the back with the standard back boxes, as the res delete does give a nice sound
  4. They are pretty reasonable, got them to make some for a Mini Cooper when a bro in law need their Mini touching in after the sis in law reversed into a ice cream van
  5. Use these guys, local also and will mix up the paint while you wait - https://www.carspaints.com/ Don't use the brush that it comes with get a small/fine brush and touch in with that
  6. hours lost with that configurator haha
  7. Yes I have seen a few now but just depends on the style I want, I do like the multispoke syle wheels
  8. I don't mind cleaning them just annoys me when I do that they are bubbling underneath the paint Spacers would be cheaper unless you get too close to the wheels as they are currently.
  9. Would jacking up the side with the issue help to see, also if it needs to be seated? Without it causing more of an issues
  10. It's a slippery slope, but then I had issues with mine from the getgo which I could never get out of my mind, so it natural that this was going to happen for me. Is the other side different to this side?
  11. Ouch, hope it gets sorted and not too much costing. I am still recovering from my last 2 spendy months for my car, but enjoying it more each time I use the car. Not used it since Sunday
  12. @MartiniB when you mounted the tips on your exhaust what ID size did you go for? Also I saw that you left 1inch from the box to the end of the tip for mounting, correct? Looking at this again and have found this but I think the ID is not right XhaustsVolkswagen Golf MK7 GTI / R | H-Type Dual Exhaust Tip (Ma...Upgrade your Golf MK7 GTI or R with this premium H-Type Dual Exhaust Tip, designed to enhance both style and sound. 13. This is what I was thinking that its meaning for LHD and not RHD as well
  14. This is via Car Scanner Pro and a OBDII dongle, this is not possible via just settings in the multimedia screen and I am not even sure if this is possible But also would like to do this as then it's handy when parking to a kerb on the drivers side, I might try this later today.
  15. I did think I read that you have the right mirror dip for reversing via the coding - But not sure if it truly for right mirror or LHD cars - 9. Put right mirror down when reversing (mirrors with memory function) 10. Put right mirror down when reversing (mirrors without memory function)
  16. Wanting to just be a cheap skate and just get another set of wheels with maybe tyres less than the refurb and tyres would cost to do on my current wheels, along with the less agro of leaving the car with the place for a few days too. Yes been looking at bore sizing as well for the fitment, so yes maybe a little bored but my current wheels have a lot of bubbling so would like to get them done Yes I am thinking this but then would show more if and when they get kerbed This is what I am thinking if I go for aftermarket wheels or even some VAG ones with a different ET to then not have to have spacers as well.
  17. Just wondering if anyone has changed their wheels for another OE version or completely different. I have been looking into later this year getting my wheels refurbed but there seems to be multiple 5x112 from the VAG group where wheels could fit easily. Just wondering if also anyone has changed the ET so that they sit more in the arches rather than then using a hub spacer. Night time picture is mine currently, with the other 2 the OE option
  18. With cars these days having multiple brains it would only seem that these could be interrogated to a deeper level if required, but then would be dealer specific on how deep they would be prepared to go based on the situation along with how much time this would take. Are there things as super techs these days who are the guru etc when an issues stumps them.
  19. Same have heard Vindis are better! Yes I am sure they would work it out possibly, maybe
  20. Valid point there @travs the comment was a little tongue in cheek, but understand what you are saying. Plus I don’t really have the confidence in my dealer for things anyway. Lucky it did work for me in the end.
  21. Nah, would just take it Skoda haha, thats what warranty is for and deny everything haha Yes I have done those other things, also the start/stop which I didn't think was working but does show on the dash after a short period That is good, I went to Norwich last week and got 38mpg, even with me being a boy with my new zorst feature haha
  22. Boom, that works, thanks for that Just got to test the windows going up now for when it rains, which it is currently
  23. I can use the handle and button in the tailgate to open and close, along with using the Key fob to open and close the tailgate The button by the gear knob only unlocks and doesn't power the tailgate up or down like it did previously Yeah I don't have that - choose other version
  24. Yes everything else is working as expected, with the key operations working now when not before for closing. Sorry was playing Golf and back at work now
