Vertical Line through Infotainment screen
I have mine booked in for it to be looked at and then see if they can do a warranty claim, my dealer seems to be a little wet behind the ears and any warranty work is really seemly to be a little hard with hoops need to be jumped through, but we shall see. They are polite at least and as they are in the Audi dealer currently also, means I can look at shocking paint work of brand new cars with swirl marks and scratches on them. Noticed it over the weekend and it will bug the hell out of me for sure, mine is a 2018 with the newer style screen, but seeing as above has extended warranty and was replaced I am hopeful.

Steel Pedal Covers for DSG
Yes I came to realise that when looking into it, funny when searching on eBay it was sometimes cheaper to be the whole pedal assembly than just the cover

Adding USB ports in armrest?
The single USB socket plate and USB has arrived today, its a Skoda unit so is a Skoda direct replacement for the blanking plate but only the a single USB port. The unit came with a tail from the round 4 pin connector, but I have removed the USB unit from the mounting plate, will then mount in the Single usb with in line power adaptor and should be golden. Will post pictures when the rest comes etc

Adding USB ports in armrest?
Thanks, that makes sense. Found these, which could work, they seem to have the ports but then use cable from the other as they sit in the middle of the cig lighter socket and USB to provide power. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006871500034.html?UTABTest=aliabtest125094_24785&src=google&src=google&albch=shopping&acnt=494-037-6276&slnk=&plac=&mtctp=&albbt=Google_7_shopping&gclsrc=aw.ds&albagn=888888&ds_e_adid=&ds_e_matchtype=&ds_e_device=c&ds_e_network=x&ds_e_product_group_id=&ds_e_product_id=en1005006871500034&ds_e_product_merchant_id=107799086&ds_e_product_country=GB&ds_e_product_language=en&ds_e_product_channel=online&ds_e_product_store_id=&ds_url_v=2&albcp=17859500389&albag=&isSmbAutoCall=false&needSmbHouyi=false&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17190468917&gbraid=0AAAAADznYb-0j620LkO-W9rdqyaMif53i&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4eHLBhCzARIsAJ2NZoLmeDqnDWtr0Bgh13IRc_Zg9rdPYWFWZtCDXrbpN-FJeKVk24mmkY4aAk1qEALw_wcB&aff_fcid=83685b43fced42949a2f376be85ddc5f-1769506356085-04032-irey5Th&aff_fsk=irey5Th&aff_platform=promotion&sk=irey5Th&aff_trace_key=83685b43fced42949a2f376be85ddc5f-1769506356085-04032-irey5Th&terminal_id=aa933f27ba7d4e3dbd2407601450c3c0&OLP=1116833308_f_group2&o_s_id=1116833308&afSmartRedirect=n https://ebay.us/m/1r1wiN I have replaced the rear cig lighter along with using the car's wiring for a usb unit, so thinking the cable to sit in the middle of the cars wiring the USB's in the arm rest for a clean look

Adding USB ports in armrest?
I am thinking of doing the USB port in the arm rest. Would only want power, would use Wireless airplay dongle at the front and just keep the ashtray shut. In using the 5G0035222E, this is the unit that fits the blanking plate under the arm rest? Do you use the USB Hub as a splitter so true feed that currently connects to the front usb port in the ash tray would then feed the hub with then the 2 outports going to the usb A ports? Is that correct?

Has anyone fitted Bilstein B4?
Did you notice the difference from the oem shocks?

SinoSmart reversing camera
Hey David, Just fitted one to my 2018 Estate last week, ensure that yours is the fully square edged handle, if so which mine was then yes it is option A for the car. No water connection. Just take your time in fitting, took me around 3 hours, taking apart, fitting and then putting back together. I ran the cable from the boot down the sill's and then that way to the glove box, the yellow connectors can be hard to push in but they do go in. I taped mine up so they didn't come apart again etc Oh if it doesn't work after fitting it, hard reset the stereo - Hold down the power button Hope that helps

Bouncy and Unsettling ride
Going with B6's, these are the part numbers - Bilstein Rear B6 Sport Shock Absorber - 24-229890 Bilstein Front B6 Sport Shock Absorber - 35-229872 Should I do the top mounts at the same time, also do the rubber boots etc too. Wondering due to a front bush going if I should do a the SuperPro, are these arms worth it and also which ones?

Has anyone fitted Bilstein B4?
Yup, just been out with a Skoda Tech and he said yup feels how they feel, he did work at VW and said that the Passat's feel more planted than the Superb So B6's will be ordered, will get new top mounts also and been thinking about getting the arms too, might as well do everything I can at this point. As speaking about the worn bushing on the front, whereby you could hear it on the test ride. Then was told that is has to completely fail to be warranty also. so might as will replace that at the same time too.

Has anyone fitted Bilstein B4?
Sorry to drag this old thread up, after googling a few different results. Just wondering the same if anyone has put B4’s on their Superb I am leaning more towards these due to them being black so less likely to show when a technician is under the car due to extended warranty on the car. I have read where the B4 is supposed to be slightly updated but not seen anyone have these on their car as yet, currently have Sachs rear shocks
-
Bouncy and Unsettling ride
Right I am almost decided to change the shocks on the Superb Now I have seen some have gone down the B4 route over the B6, with still having warranty I am wanting to keep within specs but I understand that the B4 is still 10% stiffer Is this correct and is it worth it or should I just spend the extra and do the B6?

Engine / Ignition Switch-Off Irritations
Does the car not switch off when you open the door, I remember my old Tarraco did that after pressing stop, everything still on until you opened the door. My Superb is a key so as soon as you switch off and take the key out of the ignition very goes off with a message on the radio saying bye My Wife’s Mini does the radio stay on until yo lock it
