Hi Dan Welcome to the forum. I have the same car and apart from short trips in town my fuel consumption is in the low to mid 30s. 36 on a motorway run last weekend. 18 inch zenith alloys, jumbo box and all round electic windows were a free upgrade on my car bought new June 2007. IIRC this offer was introduced some time in Spring 2007, so not all 07 plate cars will have this pack. Heated mirrors are standard. Parking sensors and cruise are options. I've had 16,000 trouble free miles so far. Enjoy your vRS!

Anthracite Grey pics here (post #179) http://briskoda.net/allams-skoda/get-together-21st-feb/134284/8/

From what I have read about the Golf MkVI it is just a heavily facelifted MkV, driven as much by making it cheaper to build as anything else. If this is correct it will still be using the same platform as the current Octavia and A3.

Some 07 plate cars also have this pack as standard.

Octy facelift, Golf mkV1 or A3
Mercurio replied to Bassa's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
I went for an Octy vRS over a Golf mkV GTi Got over the badge issue and just felt it was more car for less money. No regrets. -
Not normally a fan of white cars, but that looks great. More pictures please

Great buy Does anyone know where the owner of the red TDI vRS got them?

Skoda double din head unit / sat nav broke screen
Mercurio replied to Belfastlad's topic in Insurance & Legal Issues
Other forum members have bought sat navs on ebay from naviandbmwparts and feedback has been positive. If you search on 'naviandbmwparts' you will find their comments. -
Thanks to thebrymar for researching this. The Skodateile price looks quite attractive and the website has the petrol vRS version at the same price you have been quoted. Is that because you don't think there would be much of a saving against the price Skodateile are offering for one unit, numbers interested too low or just the logistics of getting a group buy approved and organised? I'm fairly new round here so just looking to clarify the situation before deciding whether to do my own thing.

Stephen - I'd be interested to know who the seller on ebay was as I'm looking for an MFD3 myself and would be happier buying from a seller who has been willing to help with an aftersales issue.

Interested if mph version for petrol vRS available at the right price. Have updated the list: 1. thebrymar 2. partyboy1101 3. Mr Awol - if the price is right 4. Pagey1255 - based on price 5. albert 6. Mercurio Any suggestions for where to get one fitted in East Anglia?
-
Like the look of these - would be great to have full leather as an option on the facelift vRS. I emailed Skoda UK a few days ago to suggest this - anyone else up for joining the campaign?

Important options you really need
Mercurio replied to Richf's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Just missed out on one from same seller by £3 on ebay yesterday ... grrr Went for £753 plus postage so you got a good deal. -
Also interested in a Maxidot if there is any prospect of another group buy on these (Mk 2 vRS TFSI).

Wouldn't be without zenons and cruise is great for dealing with the average speed cameras on the A14 Cambridge - Huntingdon. Also have curtain airbags - not expensive and worth it if ever needed. Might have gone for maxidot if they had called it something that better explained what it could do! -
L & K Estate DSG - first impressons.

You're not the only one - I had that problem test driving a Golf GTI with DSG -
