will a heat gun be too hot? 300 degrees C is the lowest i can go

just bought one of these how did you lot attach it to the cage? i have the little bracket slider things but there isnt much room for them in the cage with the HU -
pictures look good, i cant wait to do my stuff once i get prepared, i have a heat gun just warming at the chance to start this work

hey people as the title says really, im fitting a double din HU and need to know how to remove the trim around the stereo and what tools are needed oh and how do you unbolt the cd changer as i cant see anything obvious at a glance any pics or links welcome cheers

sounds good, did you have a ramp or just axle stands

there are shallower sumps from factory with shorter pick up pipes, this is just one similar to one of those, i would have thought you would need a shorter pick up pipe though

i have the dack metalic blue and its a nice colour as its not so common on octys -
thanks very much for organising this and all the posting and what not centre consol will be on here when done

it could be down to a number of things but the main two are incorrect core size and ally with different thermal conductivity find any cheap one made of the right ally and your onto a winner
