Alloy Wheel deterioration
The Sirius alloy wheels are partially diamond cut / polished, an inherently weaker finish compared to painting or powder coating. At 8 years old you've done well to last this long. The polished finish is achieved by polishing the bare alloy to an almost mirror finish and simply applying lacquer i.e. completely missing out the protective paint. Stone chips, kerbing, tyre replacement, UV etc. all weaken the lacquer, water get's behind it, but without the protective paint the lacquer is quickly compromised and the bare alloy exposed, resulting in corrosion, a term often referred to as white-worm. Skoda in their infinite wisdom decided to extend the polished finish around the area where the tyre bead sits on the rims...

How do you cancel dashboard bulb warning lights?
There are 8 not 6 rear side / night lights on the estate (and Twindoor). In your picture, the fog light bulb (in the same way as the brake light bulb) is dual-function, brake / tail and fog / tail, this makes-up the lower portion of Skoda's signature 'C' shape of their rear lights. The brake / tail is W16W, the fog / tail is P21W, both single filament, the output is varied via a single filament by the BCM / CECM. Are all 8 tail light bulbs functioning correctly?

Couple issues in cold weather
As for the second issue, what colour is the puff of smoke out of the rear? White, blue or black? Presumably no warning lights on the dash? A refusal to change gear might log a fault code of some description, it might be worth getting the car scanned to see if anything is stored? There is a section in the air filter box, underneath the air filter that had a tendency to trap debris on my 2012 CR140 TDI. Remove the top of the air filter box (8x Torx screws), lift out the air filter and remove the mesh underneath. Check for leaves or debris that might be holding or pooling water after a direct hit from the jet wash?

Couple issues in cold weather
Is it an estate (wagon) or Twindoor (sedan)? The Twindoor has always been finicky with it's rear lights and the 'blown bulb warning' and there have been numerous reasons over the years from water ingress to incorrect bulbs to stretched / brittle wiring. The most common issue, and one most likely related to the cold, is the brittle wiring. I suspect the plastic coating on the wires in the extreme low temperatures becomes more brittle than normal, and what you're experiencing is the beginning of this issue... When the car is warm the wiring softens, becomes more pliable and the issue temporarily disappears? Or, you have an estate and I am completely wrong 😀

skoda superb 2012 170 crdti oil leak after dealer service
Assuming it is engine oil then there are only really three possible touch points during the oil change... 1) Oil filter housing 2) Sump plug 3) Oil filler cap. The common issues associated with each are: 1) As already mentioned, the filter housing is plastic and the screw cap has a maximum torque level. If over torqued they can distort and / or crack. The inside of the filter housing lid / cap has a rubber seal, again as mentioned if this is incorrectly fitted (it is possible for it to drop into the wrong slot), or is stretched, split or snapped during installation, then oil may be able to pass. 2) Some dealers extract the oil from out of the oil filler opening so the sump plug may not have been touched, some dealers do still remove the sump plug to drain the oil. Some dealers completely replace the sump plug for a new one (complete with a new crush washer), others reuse the old sump plug. If the plug is cross threaded, over-tightened or not tightened enough, or the crush washer is worn or has failed then again oil may pass. 3) Finally as the oil is replaced and the levels checked it is common for dealers to accidentally forget to replace the oil filler cap. This should be easy to diagnose though as it will be obvious the minute you lift the bonnet by the missing cap and oil covering most of the engine and underside of the bonnet.

Octavia iV Estate - flat 12v battery
Skoda had an issue on the MkII Octavia back in 2012 with faulty brake light switches resulting in the brake lights illuminating during the night and flattening the battery. 10 years later not much has changed I see 😂

Need (Big) help with a TPI on cracked sealings
It isn't for you to have to play two dealers off against each other, or to try and dig out a Skoda TPI. It is time to involve Skoda Denmark Customer Services, and ask them to resolve the issue for you, on your behalf. Perhaps the second dealer, whilst probably not being allowed to share with you the actual TPI, might instead provide you with the TPI 'number', to which you could include during your conversation with Skoda Denmark?

Kodiaq 2018 brake lines
Have you got the exact wording from the certificate? Could the corroded rear discs have been a separate advisory / failure? They're a common issue on the Kodiaq. Contaminated brake fluid might be visible from the reservoir, there are also tests that can be done via the reservoir to check the condition of the brake fluid. Contaminated brake fluid might affect the performance of the braking system including a brake caliper which could then adversely affect the condition of the disc, hence needing to know if they're directly attributing the condition of the brake fluid to the corrosion on the disc?

Electric Towbar with Alko stabiliser hitch
I have the exact same set-up, it is tight. If after reversing the caravan onto the pitch I don't jump out of the car, apply the caravan's handbrake and pull the car forward a few inches to release the damper then when I lift the caravan off the tow ball and the damper releases it makes contact with the rear bumper.

Fog-light bulb 2017 Octavia 1.5 TSi
I'm pretty sure the front fog lights are H8, alas non are E-marked so are not road legal, even those from Philips etc. https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/h8-h11-h16-philips-led-x-treme-ultinon-gen2-pair.html I'm not sure the front fogs are part of the MOT? Either way the chances of it being an issue I'd imagine are slim...

Dealer fit reversing camera
The Highline reverse camera is available as an aftermarket (genuine Skoda) part, so presumably is available on the Kamiq, perhaps just not in all markets or with all specification variants https://www.carcommunications.co.uk/genuine-skoda-kamiq-highline-reversing-rear-view-camera-kit

Mudflaps ?
We're going back several years here but these pictures are of a MkII Skoda Superb, fitted with OEM front and rear mudflaps. The car was driven for a prolonged period / distance on an unmade gravel road, which had an effect similar to that of a sandblaster on the paintwork. What it might demonstrate is the relative ineffectiveness of the mudflaps at protecting the paint from stone chips, unless protecting an inch of sill and an inch of rear bumper is deemed worthwhile... I had a MkII Superb too (hence my interest), it came supplied with mudflaps and the fronts were tight up against the metal wing. In the 5+ years / 160,000 miles I drove it, the slight movement of the flaps combined with the dirt and grit trapped behind them wore through the paint and introduced some rust, so they're not always a good thing. I have them fitted to my Kodiaq more for aesthetic reasons, I think they enhance the appearance of the car, but also because they don't come into contact with any painted metal surfaces.

Flat Battery New Car
There is supposedly an inbuilt voltage meter, once the battery level reaches a certain threshold power to the internal 12V sockets is removed, the idea being sufficient charge is left in the battery to allow the engine to be started. Although as others have experienced it either isn't true, doesn't work or isn't built into all versions of the Kodiaq.

Facelift reduction in quality?
Skoda have history here, they've done it for years, as I'm sure other manufacturers do too. For launch they stuff the vehicles full with features and innovation, the Kodiaq was no exception being their first 7-seater SUV. Then as the product passes through its typical life cycle, cost savings are implemented. This doesn't mean the product doesn't improve, or benefit from additional features not available at launch, but it can often result in what some might see as penny-pinching. It all depends on how you perceive certain aspects of your vehicle. For some it matters, especially those moving from one to another but it could be argued that those new owners who have no experience of the older versions are less likely to notice. Perhaps Skoda are less interested in loyalty / returning customers than they are of attracting new customers and taking market share? This was the list of changes to the Kodiaq a few years ago (MY19 to MY20 I think), there have been plenty of others before and no doubt after... Removal of door safety lights, now replaced with reflectors Removal of passenger side footwell net Removal of chrome on window switches Removal of rear door sill plates Removal of net program in boot Removal of removable flashlight in boot Removal of seat rail covers Footwell lighting no longer standard, now only included with ambient lighting package Exterior mirror lighting is now only available with electric memory front seats Interior rear-view mirror now always black instead of headliner colour 5 seater: two bag hooks instead of four 7 seater with spare wheel: removal of cover under loading floor Sleep Package: One blanket now included instead of two Umbrella: only one included instead of two SportLine/vRS: rear badges now black SportLine: air vent frames now black instead of chrome vRS/L&K/Scout: Removal of logos on rear seat rows

Low oil pressure in morning.
Now the glowplug light is on you'll likely have additional / new fault codes stored. It needs rescanning for the fault codes again.

What would happen if egr was simply unplugged
Has your Superb had the EA189 NOx recall carried out within the last 2 years? If so was it performed at a mileage of 160,000 miles or less? If you're able to provide evidence that your Superb has been serviced in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines then you may be eligible for a new EGR fitted for free at a Skoda main dealer under their Trust Building Measure... https://www.skoda.co.uk/owners/ea198-trust-building-measure

Dash display
The 'individual functions' vary by specification and market, but roughly when selecting 'MFD' (Multi Function Display) you should be able to view some or all of the following: Driving time Current fuel consumption Average fuel consumption Range Distance driven Average speed Current speed Oil temperature Warning against excessive speeds

Limp mode intermittently.
Presumably most of those fault codes listed have arisen due to running the engine with the turbo partially disassembled. Looking at the scroll bar to the right there are even more fault codes not displayed on your photo? Assuming you replaced the non-genuine oil pressure sensor with a genuine part, and have reassembled the turbo intake correctly then the next course of action would be to completely clear all of the fault codes and wait until the glowplug light comes back on. Once on then you should rescan for fault codes and see what you have. DPF deletes have a tendency to put extra strain on the EGR and other emissions-related systems, the EGR already being a relatively weak component on older / higher mileage / mapped / modified Superbs.

Skoda Superb mk2 light bulb types
- Zenith 18's Centre cap size
56mm. Be careful though, a lot of non-genuine caps that are advertised as 56mm often don't fit, they're a friction fit via lugs on the cap dropping into a groove on the alloy wheel, even very small variations in diameter can result in them fitting loosely or not at all. The old style caps (green) are becoming harder to source (6U0601151LMBH) and as such are quite pricey, might be worth replacing all four with the later black and chrome finish?- Brake Lights Staying On
My alarm siren battery went flat and did not result in the issues you described, so in my example my assertion was correct. - Zenith 18's Centre cap size
