  1. I sent this 1433 yesterday, that's final update. Maybe try asking in 3-6 month's time.
  2. I will try to send in less than an hour for you.
  3. Adapted, it speeds up the process of the car knowing the charge capacity etc.
  4. https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/types/027-efb/ https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/types/027-agm/ If yours is an "027" then there's your choices, I have used Tanya before, no problems and cheaper than EECP Check this list, and perhaps tag them, or PM https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/262215-list-of-vcds-owners-previously-known-as-vag-com-vcp-owners/
  5. Can you get picture of what's fitted right now? AGM/EFB?
  6. I could be wrong, but I don't think that's a stop/start battery! Happy to be corrected if wrong.
  7. If things are stable, you can leave alone. But I have updated mine, as have many others. 50/50 really.
  8. 0480 is available if needed.
  9. Intermittent break in wire to the fog lamp, have you got down and wiggled the wires around, and followed the loom back and done the same?
  10. Yours does sound more broken than just German language, but yes AFAIK everything working as intended after the firmware update. Sat Nav, radio and menu's all correct in English once more.
  11. Looks like you have plenty of excellent solutions to the problem, just need to put it into action. Best of luck with it all.
  12. The ratio will still be the same, 7lt. on a 45lt. tank. Might be a good idea to drain that off if you cannot afford the repair bill, it's truly luck of the draw if it gives way sooner rather than later.
  13. Comically enough the prompts were in English, and touch screen to proceed. As it takes 1hr, you must have a charger though, as it's done with ignition off. Did you not swap yours in the end?
  14. Your port will likely be driver side, on the RHS of wheel down low. If you struggle to get down as low as a snakes belly, you could put your phone on selfie mode and wave it around down there! Glad to hear the car is back to normal, I assume the 1,000 rpm is roughly where it idles give or take. If you're keeping the car for a few years, might be worth getting VCDS for it, pays for itself quite quickly compared to a few dealer trips.
  15. No idea why they don't supply updates there (maybe they do, just never seen one) Odds are they don't trust us to apply them correctly, so if they don't supply any... No comeback on them. Post up a picture of your Software Train information and I can check for you. Mine are from VAG group, not a website.
  16. Checking a little on Google, there seems to be a few saying 5% or 7.5% is max safe amount. You have roughly 15% mix, it will likely shorten the fuel pump life, but you need to decide whether to roll the dice, you could run the car around as normal, and keep topping up often with diesel, so the percentage drops quickly.
  17. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/470449-i-need-bolero-update/?do=findComment&comment=5702530 Press and hold down the Menu/Setup button for about 10 seconds, then you will enter the hidden engineering menu where you can find the Software Train information and the correct update button. As seen in 2nd picture on link above. The software update portal is as much use as a chocolate fireguard, not sure anyone has seen an update they can apply themselves.
  18. It was loaded yesterday a firmware update, roughly 1hr... Rebooted into German, but was able to swap to English! Tagging @Spudskoda
  19. Even better, perhaps throw up a photo (or ten)
  20. Welcome Craig, hopefully you are not waiting too long for your Karoq.
  21. Maybe if you supply your VIN to @pab567 he can tell you what is fitted, and maybe send you a solution/suggest a swap part (he can supply radio parts if needed)
  22. I tried that trick yesterday, but they weren't live at the time, I will grab those now for my collection @langers2kThanks to @MartiniBonce more for hard work in keeping us updated.
  23. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/453298-the-mk3-octavia-tdi-water-pump-thread/ I think this is the sticky thread being referred to.
  24. I will send you Version 1433, and it's compatible with P2104
