  12. Have you eyeballed the headlight level sensors on the axles? Might be an idea to check if the plastic arm hasn't snapped. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqZIB9Ys4XU What they look like on axle if you don't already know

    Welcome 😄 2nd poster
  14. There are several threads on here for the same issue over the year's. No solutions other than increasing the bass/mid/treble as much as possible, or even artificially boosting the source (MP3 for example) None of which are good solutions to the problem though. Sorry I couldn't help further, it's just how some units are.
  15. I had a friend who practically ran his Merc diesel into the ground, I witnessed the oil being dropped and it came out in globs 😬I think they ran in some cheap oil as a flush. Let's just say he thought servicing was wasting his money. I still remember him saying it started better afterwards and was more economical 😁
  16. There was a new LCU released yesterday (and new ESD refresh) https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB5019311 Takes OS to 22621.525
  17. Have you tried to locate someone with VCDS that can perform this quick service reset? You did talk about borrowing one, but was too basic for the task.
  18. You should verify this is correct by a VIN search at a dealer (see if they can email you a quote, that way you have the part numbers) https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5q0919088am-fuel-pump-31354.html The link is not to say "buy from here" but to show you that you will most likely need a new fuel level sender also to add to the cost. I did see this on the parts program ETKA also
  19. Yes there is an update to 0490, I will send this via PM in a moment.
  20. Diesel will look black in no time, if you drop the oil from a petrol it should be darker but not black in my experience. Maybe take a picture of the oil on dipstick or tissue paper and some can suggest if best to do a run with cheap oil/filter for a week or such.
  21. You should be going to your dealers to book the car in for the issue. If you bring up your software information, I maybe able to tell you if there's any firmware update available at the dealers to perform an update. You can try to bring up some values of what's installed by holding down your menu/setup key for about 10 seconds to enter the engineering menu. Take some pictures and post them up.
  22. I think like Pete a no also, unless when you change the oil it comes out like jelly, you are fine. If it did, then you would be just as well to get some cheap oil to run through for a few minutes/Miles* to clean out. Drop oil again and place in new filter and your good oil. *because I am not a mechanic, someone will probably say this is good/bad
  23. Welcome, hopefully people can assist you with your niggles shortly.
