  1. That's entirely your choice, might be best left alone if it all works. Goodluck whichever you decide.
  2. The wire from Alternator could be 16 gauge or 25 gauge depending on fitted equipment, mainly trailer, though could be other equipment also. Maybe for piece of mind upgrade the wiring along with the Alternator? Fuse seems to be 175Amp no matter which is fitted.
  3. Glad you made some progress, I am sure you can dismantle the unit without an angle grinder to cooked your CD's with heat and white hot sparks of metal. I love pulling things apart, so no doubt you will be able to get in with some effort and time.
  4. No pressure then 😄 Attached is the full printout, the LLLParts links are actually a little weird, as the link tries to suggest illustration 903-000 is real, but reality in ETKA is it's UEB. That asside for a moment, @Breezy_Pete is correct on that being a 120A and should fit. 903UEB.pdf You will need to allow time for this task, as potentially you might need a new Alternator bracket, could be painful once you have torn old one out to find new one doesn't fit as intended. Also worth checking the wiring gauge does not change also from one alternator to another, don't want to feed all that current down a thinner wire.
  5. If me and Pab567 cannot find it, you will struggle. Not all things have updates sadly.
  6. https://turbodiesel.cc/shop/turbochargers/turbocharger-turbo-54399700016-audi-vw-seat-skoda-1-9-tdi-130hp-blt-a3-golf-touran-polo-octavia-fabia-ibiza-cordoba-gaskets-brand-new/ Plenty of turbos out there, did you miss my post with part number 038 253 010? Edit: Not saying buy from this place, as I don't know them, make sure you do checks before you buy, warranty etc.
  7. @Xhuy10nx Could your fuel level sender itself be faulty? All this talk about adjustments to the fuel profile's seems a tad odd to me. Easier said than done I'd admit, but I would be tempted to drain the tank and check values of what car thinks it has in the tank, I do believe most test plans say to add 7l or something like that and read again live values. I am just an armchair mechanic that reads too much, so I could be off base.
  8. The German phrase 'vorsprung durch technik' is usually translated into English as 'progress through technology' This sprang to mind reading last post. Considering how many flat battery posts there has been for many VAG cars, it's safe to assume that there is no feature to cut power 🙄
  9. 0480 is available, will send PM in five minutes.
  10. @pab567 I don't have this, is this in your collection?
  11. Not strictly tyre's themselves, but TPMS is a thing 🤣
  12. Sent a link to exact file I used, have to let us know how you get on. No user card will work for maps, needs a matching CID.
  13. Can you show a picture of exactly how many bytes are on your card. Also which map file did you try to load onto it? I used a 6.7GB compressed map that when unpacked should fit.
  14. I have the firmware, but it has been modified (though I suspect only good things!) Maybe they have unlocked Video in Motion or something else like that. Besides probably cannot hurt a broken unit. I can send you a link and you will need to burn to a CD-R/DVD-R, maybe at low speed too just in case.
  15. Here are some details found for your turbo and engine code that might help you. The part 21 in this image was one of the possible points of failure, where it can not longer hold vacuum or becomes stuck in place The test process is attached as PDF Checking Vacuum Actuator.pdf Checking your part number shows it was dropped and replaced with new part number As seen now in the parts program It might be a good idea to expand your post to include symptoms of what performance if any you get from the turbo, and what diagnostic steps were taking if possible to identify the failure. https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/oenumber/038253010.html This has some prices for parts, but does depend on garage as some will not like fitting customer supplied parts. At least you can see what you could be paying for just the turbo alone.
  16. 1. For any unforeseen circumstances please copy Your navigation unit coding from VCDS/VCP 2. Download proper ISO file 3. Using some good quality CD burng ISO file using any image burning tool (Recommended to use Verbatim/TDK or similar and Imgburn software) 4. Turn Your RNS into Software upgrade mode by pushing together SETUP + EJECT + MIC (INFO) when on 5. Put Your CD into slot above the radio screen 6. Wait for update. This sounds about right I guess, as you know I haven't used these old files ever (getting dust on NAS only)
  17. I think his buttons do not respond, I think you can make it download via ODIS?
  18. If you pull up some details on what you have seen online, me or someone else might be able to assist with decoding the PR codes. You will also need to have the new radio swapped over with dealer tools to your VIN so that it can function. There's also forum member @pab567 who may have some advice for you about getting old one fixed, or he may have a physical radio he can send from Poland?
  19. Sorry, Menu/Setup kinda same thing. But from what you describe it's stuck in a fair old boot loop. Here is the details on the radio fitted, pay attention to the PR Codes as they determine what is available. I called this picture "kidney" for very obvious reasons. Unless someone know of a company that repairs these units, then you might be stuck for a bit. We can lookup the PR Codes for the other part numbers like "C" and so on, so you can choose if you are happy to possibly loose a function for the eBay ones you did see.
  20. You may struggle to get it to load if you cannot get into menu before it reboots. Try to hold down the menu key and see if you can get to the hidden menu with Software Train information, this also has the firmware update button. However, if it's very unstable... You may not get to the menu long enough for it to update.
  21. MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526_1440 is available for you, I will PM a link in a few moments. Takes you from 0933 to 1400
  22. I can send you a link in a few minutes.
  23. You maybe able to load firmware onto it again, in case it has gotten corrupted? Worth a shot as it's free to do. Hold down menu key, and look for Software Train, report back if you wish to try.
