  1. Welcome, sounds like you are into upgrades, must be plenty of members out there to assist with that.

Welcome Yavuz, I hope you like your new car 🤝
  3. In the last few months, there has been a run of Columbus units loosing the plot. This might be an early indication of impending failure. Maybe you need to find out what firmware is loaded on there now so you can either load same version if available, or update firmware potentially to stabilise system?
  4. I keep hearing that idea being chucked about also, here is what it is called in VAG parlance and image.
  5. PR: 1X0 (Front Wheel Drive) https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/SUP/851/8/825/825000 PR: 1X1 (Four Wheel Drive https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/SUP/851/8/825/825010
  6. Before you jump too quickly, what is your Software Train? I always recommend updating it, then load in toolkit (latest is MIBSTD2_Toolbox-v1.2.1) if you are on that SW train. Also note if you have 01xx or 02xx you must replace the GEM in the toolbox for older one. If you need help, I can assist via PM and talk you through steps to help make sure you don't make mistakes.
  7. I don't own one, but I will say I highly doubt they could not find anything in history for the faults. My older car moans about a faulty rear tailight bulb and logs the fault in diagnostics. More than likely there was a fault, but they couldn't fault the car on the day, so cleared and sent you on the way so that it becomes permanent... just what you want on a dark night.
  8. It's another one of those "lifetime" belt engines, and of course the debate on change belt or not will be same as ever.
  9. I can send you 0253 version
  10. @GizmoThor8303A shame it has a ding on the door, but you did polish it up nicely for a run about car.
  11. Just send PM with file
  12. You can update to 0306 version, I will PM you a file to download to USB stick. Meanwhile here is a video in Italian of the process to watch and reference the steps.
  13. I think we can get you to 8755, will send you a PM
  14. It might be a good idea to check the SD Card to make sure it is still healthy. So take it to a PC and do a bad sector check. You need to run a command prompt on a Windows PC with Administrator powers Type in the following to scan the SD Card (it will take time) ChkDsk D: /R ChkDsk = Command line Check Disk D: = The drive letter of your SD Card, adjust to the correct letter /R = Scan and check for bad sectors You do it in a command prompt as you can see the output there and then, and if needed take a screenshot.
  15. What software version is installed on your car?
  16. Skoda won't be much help. Hold down your menu or setup button for 10 seconds to enter engineering menu, find software train if you can and post image.

Wow, interesting your dealer pointed you towards a forum. Hope we can help 🤝
  18. Welcome, hope it goes well for you 🤝
  19. Thanks, this is the software train I was thinking it would be, so I will now send you a PM
  20. Hold down the Menu/Setup button until you enter the engineering menu, takes about 10 seconds to enter it. Looking for software train
  21. Answered 15th February, scroll up 🆙
  22. @ian-inhome He needs to unlock the Developer menu first/after to use the toolkit. So he does need VCDS or similar to enable this change. p.s. the video does help show how to enter GEM, and install toolkit
  23. Sorry, did you want me? Yes clearly I am joking 😄 Ok, on a serious note, if they get stolen often, and also you have to take into account the age of your car, perhaps aftermarket will suffice.. but if you are thinking to keep the car long term, then maybe it's worth getting the genuine and hope the thieves don't strike.
  24. For the heater controls, try this part number. 3T0 820 047 P WHS Fresh air and heater controls in satin black/white. Ideally you need to show whole picture of unit, as there are variations. Part number for the missing switch you need or a blanking plate, the choices are... Traction Control ESP Parking Aid Offroad TPMS As written from Left to Right Ideally you need a VIN based search to get items. I have no idea what you need in first image, as it's just picture of body work (can you elaborate more?)
