  1. Have you had the balances checked?
  2. I have to connect - disconnect and reconnect again to get the thing working - It used to work first time every time but not anymore.......
  3. Totally agree……..I’ve had this basic system on my VW / Skoda vehicles for 11 years now, always found it more than adequate.
  4. Words fail me, truly scandalous………..
  5. I think you'll find it's 25kg......cement certainly still comes in 25kg bags?
  6. Classic, straight out of the dealers go to bible - ‘101 Ways to Mislead the Customer’……..
  7. Berisford replied to Karman's topic in Skoda Karoq
My last trip was in the Karoq but the car didn’t do any settings adjustments - I altered the time and the ‘drive on the right’ business whilst enjoying the immigration queues…..
  8. I'm not convinced you get any extra hardware (other than a wiring connection in the loom) with the 'Tow Bar Prep' option...... Can't see there'd be any extra / uprated fan on the cooling system for the nominal £195 option? I do agree with vegit8 above, for the extra cost involved, these days it's worth the extra for a factory fitted OEM towbar.
  9. Remember I did this on an old motor so do your own research before proceeding on the Superb.
  10. I can't imagine a sensor would be making the creaking noise.........
  11. Into the air-con pollen filter box (it's behind the glove box - remove filter first) as the air is drawn past it'll carry the lube around the system.
  12. I cured a similar noise on a Peugeot climate system some years ago by spraying copious amounts of WD40 type lubricant into the air intake (after the filter) and operating all the various control options on the climate control. Whilst the car didn't smell too good for a few hours it did fix the problem. I'll add that the vehicle was only worth a few hundred ££ and the quote to take the dash out in an attempt to fix it was more than the car was worth - you might think differently with your 2017 vehicle..........
  13. Sounds like a flap struggling to open / close to me?
  14. Berisford replied to slawit51's topic in Skoda Karoq
I disagree, you'll do it several times and even if it doesn't hurt every time you'll have muck on your trousers, especially y if you find that having a cover on the ball sets off a rear sensor.
  15. I'm sure the current 'spec' shows wireless for Apple only, specifically 'not for Android'? Just had a quick look around but I can't see where I read it........ Edit: Found it, it's in the brochure under 'standard spec' Radio, Telephone and Navigation DAB (digital audio broadcast) radio Bluetooth® Wireless SmartLink for Apple Car Play only (wired for Android Auto and mirrorlink) Voice control Columbus satellite navigation with 9.2" touchscreen display and integrated Wi-Fi
  16. Up to £135.00 value before any import duties come into play. The problem here is SuperSkoda not being bothered about any UK business.
  17. So it seems....after seeing on the UK Gov site that anything under £135 is not a problem I looked at ordering from SuperSkoda, rubber mats and a set of mudflaps. Good price compared to UK dealers, especially with the extra 20% off. However, seems the rubber mats are too heavy for SS to send to the UK so I removed 'em and left just the flaps in the basket - amazingly they want 25€ for delivery plus some other fee taking the price for a set of flaps from 22€ to 48€. No sale here.
  18. I've bought from SuperSkoda in the past and been happy with the service and 20% off looks good, however, import duties / vat / other taxes, that might / might not be applied at the door are currently putting me off...........
  19. Just looking through the Skoda web page at Superb specs and I noticed: Please note - "The 2.0 TSI 272 PS DSG 4x4, 2.0 TDI 190 PS DSG and 2.0 TDI 190 PS 4x4 DSG engines are only available from stock." Curious inasmuch as I only ordered one 3 days ago.......
  20. Ta, though it looks great I'm thinking the modification might be out of my range..........
  21. Very nice, looks great. Is this foot well mod an easy upgrade on vehicles with ambient lighting fitted? Note: Apologies if I missed it but I've cruised these forums looking for the answer to no avail.........
  22. Ours does this now and again too, it always clears after a restart though and or switching off the ACC.
  23. I've always thought it a bit stingy of Skoda to charge £250 or so and not include the rears.........
