Poor Air-Con.....
Oi, stop twisting the truth of the post - I pointed out that if a 10 year old Golf can knock out 4c in a matter of moments a new Karoq should at least equal it. And if I like it cool in my motor that’s my business…………..

New Brochure (& specs) from 1st July 2021
Interesting, I assume that would be inside door handles? Bloke across from me had recently acquired a big old BMW where the outside handles illuminate - quite a nice tough I'm thinking.............

New Brochure (& specs) from 1st July 2021
…..and if you want trailer assist on a all but the L&K you have combine it with Area View and Tow Bar - taking the package to £2400 - ouch!

Wiper blade fitment
These minor, but irritating, adjustments made to wiper blade fitment seem quite unnecessary - checking on the Amazon fitment guide the 863’s do not fit 2019 Karoq…..?

Spring for cigarette lighter
If you mean the spring that keeps the lid shut - be aware they unhinge/ come away very easily and being under tension they disappear into the ether……….☹️

Superb sat nav positional accuracy issues
It's the same in Karoq, using the built-in Skoda sat-nav it's easy to miss a turning in crowded places because of the 50m lag - the Waze via CarPlay is bang on...........

Skoda "All-in-one" Package
Reading the booklet again it seems you can pay extra to remove the £250 excess, but they won't quote any prices without a firm enquiry............ so I assume it's not cheap.

Skoda "All-in-one" Package
Re: the Skoda Extended Warranty link above. Can’t get a price as I’ve still got some months to run on the original warranty- however, reading through the sample document there’s a lot of wriggle room for Skoda and plenty of ‘gotcha’ clauses that would leave the owner (potentially) holding the baby with expensive dealer exploratory costs. Add to that the £250 excess on all claims along with the full price Skoda Dealer servicing costs and I think it all seems too much for what it offers?

Poor Air-Con.....
I suspect today’s EU directive air con systems are like EU directive carpet cleaners - poor.

Headlight washer not working
Don't the headlight washers pop up using water pressure, not a motor?

Clock Lost Setting / Time went to 12:00
Mine did this whilst out tonight, it dropped the actual time and reverted to 01.00, Jan 1st 2013 - I gave it a reasonable time to GPS reset but no, nothing!

USB/Apple car play stopped working
A £1 can of compressed air could help too.......Poundshop.

Superb MKIII owners register
You've got to wonder how they missed those dings on the hatch.........you say many miles away, not a east coast seaside dealer was it?

A few thoughts after it’s first wash!
The entire Varioflex system as fitted is all a bit surplus for (I suspect) 99% of owners - I'd have much preferred the regular 60 / 40 system with a proper armrest and a backplate.

Poor Air-Con.....
2 years on it’s still ****e - Skoda dealer says there’s nothing amiss with the pressure and the air-con system now used is the best achievable under the latest EU directives. For me the ‘rocket science’ mentioned above by the member from Tayside is to take our 11 year old Golf if it’s going to be warm…………..

What have you done to your Superb III today?
My kinda luck that too.........a time ago had a piece of debris flick up from the car in front and punctured my fuel tank, vehicle instantly cut out and 70 liters of unleaded (I'd filled up 10 miles earlier) had to be washed away by the fire brigade.

Sound deadening
I have a large Furniture Blanket under the boot mat covering the spare wheel / boot floor area, I think it helps..........

Traffic sign controlling ACC??
Can you temporarily override it by pressing the accelerator?

KAROQ SPEED CAMERA WARNING
Had a little play around yesterday and apart from the usual satnav tantrums about being off route / turnaround / do a U turn / etc WAZE carried on as normal, no freezing or other problems and was quite happy to display all ‘info’ around me without any destination set. If only it was possible to get WAZE onto the virtual cockpit display………….

KAROQ SPEED CAMERA WARNING
Can’t be 100% but I’m sure WAZE doesn’t get upset if you go off route - not sure about the recalculating but I’ve never noticed it not.

KAROQ SPEED CAMERA WARNING
I have a 2019 model so the Speed POIs can be installed, however, there are so many of ‘em around my area the map can become a little crowded so I’ve deleted ‘em……….and to be fair, I’m not so much worried by the fixed cameras, it’s the mobile units that pose the greatest threat and they (more often than not) don’t feature in the POI lists. For me these days it’s WAZE all the way, even locally as not only are the fixed cameras marked the mobile units are updated in real time. A big shout out to all Wazers on Briskoda, thanks. 😎
