Superb Greenline II Accident Damge - Advice Please
The floor being buckled is a big thing. The boot being a clever twin boot won’t be cheap either. if the crash bar has deformed, and the floor… but equally could just be a bit of ton thats bent with the forces. The rear lights are intact. Might just be one of those bizarre contact points. Sadly second hand diesel isn’t great values. You can appeal. Or possibly get a second/3rd party quote. push for a better valuation, find some similar models, difficult I know. The trade ‘value’ is way below retail atm. ps if it’s been outside like that, it will have water damage too now.

Enyaq, short list with model y lfp…
Hi all, Got a restricted lease car list; nice problem to have. choices boil down to * enyaq 85 non x * Tesla y lfp rwd * ionic 5 77kWh rwd Anyone significantly impressed or disappointed with/or during a change in ownership? The cost is not that different, for us the Tesla network is still a bit of a plus. Just all the Musk bs puts us off supporting ‘him’. However, pragmatic enough to make the right choice as first time ev users. Thanks in advance

Exploring the Need for Dedicated Kushaq and Slavia Subforums: A Discussion
Thanks for raising. ill get them added later. Life would be easier for everyone if the models were the same name Ie the Slavia is based on the scala. So a sub forum might be under its manufactured parent. scala > slavia. Etc.

Smartlink has stopped working with my iPhone
Funnily enough mine did the same today. was fine yesterday. have tried restarting both car, info and phone. phone updated ages ago, so not an over night update. even a different cable hasn’t yielded happiness. got an eight hour drive with radio four on the cards now…

Hi, I’ve moved the topic to the yeti forum. better visibility here. re something else, N gauge. Years ago went to a relative in USA, they had a lovely n gauge in a wooden writing desk. I was a bit bored a few weeks back and began looking at desks and fleischmann. enjoy.

vibrations getting worse - 106,000km
Things to check if not already done so… tyres - might be a delaminating/damage on inside edge wheel balance - might of lost a small weight alignment - I hit a rock and Bent my rear axle, only I didn’t know I had bent it. Got vibrations in left hand corners, got better in right handlers though. less likely, might be worth a look… missing cv boots, broken spring, anything that moves I split the topic so it can stand on its own. HTH

Question about installing rear parking camera
Hello, I have a question and I think you can help me, I have a Skoda Spaceback from late 2016. I would like to install a rear parking camera and be able to see it on the screen of my Radio Bolero. According to a fellow member of the forum, my Radio is compatible, I should throw away the cable and buy the camera, and activate it with the Vagcom cable (I have the Vagcom cable). My question is which camera should I buy. I would use the original or a compatible one. Where do you recommend buying it, especially if it is compatible, since being compatible there will be many models. thank you Welcome @crloslm. The language of the forum is international english, we have members from all over the world. Happy for you to post in your native language with a translation. A google translation or your own is fine, but something for the non spanish speaking readers. I've included a translation above.

Enyaq IV80X SL - Clonking/ratteling sound underneath
Hi and welcome. It could literally be anything. I don’t own an enyaq, so the following is just other stuff it might be. * Broken spring * damper is noise on compression or rebound etc. * MQB platform all develop a knocking/creaking on manoeuvring, speed bumps. Might be a similar thing that develops. * something lose in the underfloor area(don’t know if you share your car) * foreign object, guessing they/you would of seen this. Or something completely different the creaking on mine drives me nuts. Grease solves it for a bit. Hopefully they will figure it out with more time to diagnose. Till then eat mince pies and stay of the roads

Superb sportline 2016, what's your thoughts
Enjoy it all! Don't know what boots (tyres) it has. Mine has bridgestones and they are dire in the wet and cold... almost down to a point I feel happy swapping them on waste grounds. 4mm. I normally swap at 3mm. I certainly find the 4x4 good on junctions. You might hear squeaks and groans from the suspension, this is a common thing, see the MK3 owners area. Powered taillift? Not sure if thats an option. If so put some pennies aside for the boot strut/motors. I've had two fail on me, one warranty, one on it's way out, silly 'feature' imho.

Hello from Shropshire!
Morning, Well afternoon now... hopefully you got the sunroof closed. I used to own a convertible and actually really enjoyed winter days with the top down. However, I dare not open our backdoor as it's super temperamental in the cold. We have to warm it up a bit to lock it. I'd imagine it's a similar thing on the sunroof. My first thought it is to get the car good and warm... then cover the sunroof opening somehow and let heat soak into it... otherwise it's a hairdryer type thing around the mechanism/opening. Will be cold, or some snow/ice thats gotten balled up and jamming something. Good luck with it.

Superb sportline 2016, what's your thoughts
Hi, Looks like that one ended, were you the buyer? Either way, the 4x4 or haldex is an extra cost in two simplistic ways. 1. servicing, 2 running costs I've had 4x4 on 3 of my 6 Skoda's. Oddly alternating to having it, and not having it. I prefer having it, extra costs aside. Used cars atm are still slightly over priced. Possibly more so in the sub 10k bracket. Above that seems to be some adjustment downward. Ultimately it's a hunk of metal your swapping for cash, if you can stand the cost and run it down over 10year to be x per week and that x is acceptable, go for it. Diesel maybe less overpriced, because IMHO it's got a lower appeal to some sectors inc ULEZ potential owners. I'm seeing a lot of van sales and almost all are not ulez ready. Oddly I'm swinging between an EV and a diesel, knowing full well how good small petrol petrol hybrids are. Diesel will just keep going, especially if you're doing the miles. However even the little petrols do a good job and long term bar a few exceptions seem to be going well.

2019 Superb 4x4 estate 272 petrol
Thanks. Local garage offered me less for mine, half the miles, DCC, canton, winter. So suspect this would be a 23k* car on the forecourt, if you ever saw it. Hard to find when new back in ‘19. Can’t tempt you with a swap so GLWS. * if not more. They had a ‘19 Octavia scout 50k for 24995 and refused to budge on price, for three months then it vanished 😞
