  1. Maybe cargo nets in the boot ( I rarely use mine) and check if there is a spare wheel , sometimes previous owner specifies one.
  2. @Dappernut I haven't seen the ECO symbol in other views
  3. I too have the 1.5 TSI DSG Sportline and the only time I see the 2 cyl mode is when I have consumption in the centre of the console between the Rev counter and Speedo
  4. @Howlai Great, this is my 3rd Karoq, previously had a Yeti and before that a Fabia estate. My Sportline is in Phoenix Orange, and looks beautiful!
  5. @Howlai I ordered my sportline in May, and I received it this week, it came with the larger virtual cockpit, and I only have the normal Amundsen Hope this helps
  6. Cheers Glad I picked that colour, looks great
  7. Hi all, my new Karoq Sportline in Phoenix Orange has just arrived in the UK, what ports do they use, I live in Somerset so wondered if they could arrive at Southampton. Skoda Chat informed it should be at dealers in 3 to 4 days, can't wait, ordered in early May and will have the free £500 petrol card to use.
  8. I ordered a Sportline in Phoenix orange beginning of May, just been told build date is December. Dealer said probably arrive in January, asked him about the free £500 petrol voucher expires if not delivered by end of December, he couldn't answer to which I replied "that's okay, I can just reject it as broken contract and may look elsewhere " He assured me that Skoda would have to extend offer as there could be quite a few rejections. Dealers not happy at the moment!

  10. I've had 2 petrol blues, 1 emerald green and just ordered a Sportline in Phoenix orange! the blue colours are quite good at hiding the dirt though.
  11. Same here, starting to look at the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson at the moment. I think they have also dropped the ball with not introducing a hybrid version for the Karoq.
  12. A pint of cooking and a bag of nuts !
  13. @J_R See this link:- Hope this helps.
  14. See this: - It needs a software update
  15. I had a fault with mine the day I set off on my annual holidays, Skoda assist were brilliant and followed me back to local dealer and told them the problem, they then got me a courtesy car (VW Tiguan) while mine had to be repaired (alternator problem due to cracked pipe on manifold which leaked oil into alternator electrics), delivered to my door and then put 850 miles on it during my 2 weeks holiday. The dealers were not very impressed as they said no cars available. Glad that Skoda Assist helped solve the problem. No doubt the dealership would have been charged for the car hire; I didn't care!
  16. When I took mine in for its service, I told them about the TPI for the software update from 0270 (which mine is) and they said they didn't know about it. Only when I went back several weeks later to tell them about no software or Nav updates (apart from "shop" update!) and that the SOS warning and loss of user profile did they admit there is an update, and I was the third person that day to report the SOS problem. Car is now booked in early October, and they stated it will be an all-day job.
  17. @KAR19, You were lucky, this is what happened with my 2019 Karoq. I posted this in June 2019. Two weeks ago I was setting off for a holiday at approx. 5:45am when about a mile down the road I got the warning Battery not charging!, I thought it may just have been the cold early start but turned off and back on and it appeared again after a couple of minutes. Rang Skoda assistance and they sent out the AA, after about one and a half hours he duly arrived and said the alternator wasn't charging so he boosted the battery and informed Skoda assistance that he was following me back to the dealers as only about 4 miles away and my battery should last that long without a charge but had to drive with most things turned off. On arrival at dealers I informed them that I was on my way to spend two weeks away, they then said they would check it out and let me know, they also said they would arrange for a courtesy car should they not be able to fix it that day. They rang me back after about two hours to say there was oil in the plug that connects to the alternator and needed to investigate further. Problem found to be a breather pipe on the manifold had a small hairline crack where it enters the manifold, this released oil which then dripped down into the alternator, the car was going nowhere! As I had all my luggage plus a roof box on the car I had to return to take everything out then wait for courtesy car to turn up. This arrived about 6pm that evening, so quickly piled everything in and set off. Had a phone call on Thursday to say that all has been fixed, new manifold, alternator and connecting cable. This is on a car approx. 11 months old, went to pick it up today and they said this is the first time they have seen this fault and it was a manufacturing defect. I would suggest that when checking your oil to look and see if any oil is around the manifold as I may not just be the ONLY one. Suffice to say the Tiguan was Ok, but not as nice as my Karoq! At least the 850 miles I put on the Tiguan was better than putting it on mine!!! Edited 1 June, 2019 by don_kiddik
  18. The black wire (1) goes to the blue circle, No.2 goes to one of the other red cables that correspond to the type of fuse you have. Hope this helps.
  19. Have you tried sliding your hand between the door and handle, grabbing the handle may confuse it as you may be touching both lock and unlock sensors together.
