tonight my clutch seems to have started playing up. if left in gear (say 1st for example), clutch fully pressed to the floor it sits as it should, not moving but then it will feel like i have lifted my foot and it bites slowly pulling the car along. when it goes like this it can also be tricky to pull the car out of gear as if i'm not pressing the clutch pedal far enough. anyone had this issue or know what this is likely to be? its pretty worrying, especially as the price of a new clutch seems to be rather high!! or that could be because so far i just checked out the price of an uprated sachs clutch :S

they have been doing this kind of thing for years, my mate got pulled in his van and he called me out to remove his tints as they wouldnt let him go til they were off. it doesn serve some purpose but to those who commented saying about insurance, bald tyres etc. you will most likely find that people with modified cars take very good care of them and are legal in those respects. targeting modified cars is not the way to go, there could be someone driving passed in a non insured standard car with bald tyres and no mods and because they are not driving what they are targeting would not even get a second look unless it had been picked up on anpr.

I know this is bad.....but how bad? Opinions please

i did the same thing on ice and from my experience you probably bent the hub carrier to have the wheel sitting at that angle. mine was the same after i replaced the wishbone etc and things that were obviously bent but it turned out the hub carrier also needed replaced, i think it was around £80 from skoda but not sure. edit: after looking more closely at the pics, maybe you wont be so lucky that looks quite serious actually. -
the upgrade for rears are 256mm i think, and 256mm is for a non-vrs fabia at the front.
-
288 as standard and yes they are vented.
-
yes they will fit
-
Would 15" VW steels fit over 256mm rear brakes?

the extra inch should give you enough clearance -
lmao that would just be wrong, he has skodagirl for that
