If you bought it new, and it's still under warranty I would say that you have very good grounds to reject the car and get a refund. Four engines is simply ridiculous and frankly unacceptable.

I've got the Monte with the 1.6tdi 105 engine. And I'm getting an average of 53 mpg (only done 7K), and that is a mix of short town and motorways. A trip to France last year resulted in 67mpg in real terms that was 660 miles on a single 10 gallon tank.
