ACC and Crystal face problem
Yes happens on my non crystal face too- at least it is only with snow, my last car was a Tesla and it used to throw up these errors when it was dark, or when there was low sun, both of which blinded the cameras

Enyaq Coupe launch 31 January 2022
if you've read my thread on my Tesla model you'd see the other aspect of Tesla - their build quality is very variable - I spent 14 months trying to get Tesla to take ownership of the faults and just fix them. In the end I gave up and sold it and bought the Enyaq. It is so much better than the Tesla other than in terms of 0-60 drag racing. Personally I'd not have another Tesla even if you paid me to take it.

Enyaq Video In Motion coding
I've not done it but you cab using OBD 11. I've got that but don't see the need for video in motion so I haven't coded it

Enyaq wiring loom
dead easy to fit a dash cam via the fuse box, if you look on youtube for the ID3 dashcam it is the same on the enyaq

Enyaq v Kia EV6 test
had the same at our local hub tonight, Model 3 owner had the car a week, can't get it to charge on CCS (due to to the curve of the charge port on the model 3 which is designed for the US chargers not CCS) so he was plugged in to what he thought was a 43 kW charger and wondered why it took 4 hours. He's much wiser now after a friendly chat and education session

Enyaq v Kia EV6 test
They're really wide too. My friend with one can only get his in and out of the garage using the remote control as it's too wide to open the doors once it's in.

Charge range reduction
Yes just use id3 though I did think enyaq was now an option

Electric itch...
@ColinD the elephant in the room is that fossil fuel burning kills serious numbers of our fellow citizens every year, and then there is the climate emergency. EVs are far from clean, hell other than walking nothing is but let's be realistic we can't ban transport. The ENyaq is EV number four for me (Previous cars were Nissan Leaf 40, Renualt Zoe 22 and a Tesla Model 3). It is by far and away the best car I have ever owned. Not best EV, best car. Two weeks ago I drove it to Milton Keynes and back, 720 miles. I didn't plan it any further than working out where my hotel was and making sure I had plugged it in and prgrammed the charger to make sure I paid 5p per kWh rather than 14.5p Video fo my trip here to prove it worked it was dead easy. I find I arrive less fatigued as the car forces you to take breaks rather than hammering on to the point where you're too tired to be keeping going. There's a guy on the UK enyaq facebook page who had anMG EV before the enyaq and could not be more damning of it and the lousy quality of the car which he says is cheap for a reason.

Charge range reduction
it depends entirely on your recent driving history. If you do lots of short trips then the car will be repeatedly heating up the cabin and the battery over and over again, which will reduce your economy. The same is true in an OICE car but vecause your fuel tank is bigger you don't notice as much. mine is at 76% and that's 160 miles - so that's better than your 100% and 170 miles. WHen I was on a longer trip to Milton Keynes recently you can see my range was better because I pre warmed and was on a longer trip

Enyaq v Kia EV6 test
EV6 is nice if you like Piano Black inside - fingerprint city. My friend has one and it's already back at Kia getting deep diagnotics done, the 12 v battery died leaving him waiting for the RAC to recover him. There's also issues with the heating not working so a lot of EV6 owners are having to plug fan heaters into the 240v socket to heat the car. as for the charging both the KIa and the Enyaq suffer from the cold because there is no pre condition option. I did another trip recently starting at minus 5 360 miles. It was a doddle

Enyaq iV Owners Register
for assisted drive if you press the assisted drive button and it steers itself then you have it, if it doesn't then,,,,, as for heat pump I think there's different refrigerants apparently but not sureof the details

the truth about electric cars
Should have stuck with Å koda George. Really can't complain about mine. My Renault zoe was awesome too

the truth about electric cars
How come you're losing power overnight? Thought that was only a tesla thing. Certainly my Enyaq doesn't lose any charge when sitting unused.

the truth about electric cars
bloody Edinburgh is full of them, can't et on chargers for the buggers. In Dundee they are nearly all EV (they have their own charging hub) and in Glasgow they now have their own charging hhub which is good because it was also hard to get on Glasgow chargers due to the number of EV taxis.

the truth about electric cars
At gretna I went to the loo then had to join a team meeting so was on for about 20 minutes. Then at lunch by the time I parked up, walked over to the service area, went to the loo, decided what I wanted to eat, ate it and then came out the car was full. (so was I, the noodle bar was excellent) 😉

Next video now on line Wigan to Livingston

the truth about electric cars
first charge at home was 5p per kWh and cost me £2.50 to get to 100% When I was in Milton Keynes I charged up on ionity (£6.53) and then on the way back at Wigan I used an MFG garage (£17.02) and then I did a longer top up than I needed to at Gretna as I was helping an older couple get a charge (they were trying to start Ionity with a Chargeplace Scotland card) so I just kept charging my car and so it cost me £7.74.

the truth about electric cars
Skoda Power pass George, 25p per kWh. No these have all been work trips so on my own. Did a fully loaded trip to Belfast and back with three of us and boot rammed - no apparent difference in the fuel economy The Enyaq really is a brilliant bit of kit

the truth about electric cars
I just drove my Enyaq from Livingston to Milton Keynes. 360 miles 2 stops, Gretna where I needed the loo, and Leeds where I needed lunch. Total cost £18. Total mileage at 45p per mile was roughly £150. For me, electric had already replaced petrol. This is using the smaller battery enyaq not the one with the long range.

First Bong?
Filled up my Enyaq last night £2.50, 💷😂⚡⚡

Enyaq v Kia EV6 test
Another couple of tests between the Enyaq and the Kia EV6 now on line. Not a fair comparison between a 58 kWh Enyaq and a 77 kWh EV6 but the UK doesn't get the 58 kWh EV6
