Diesel consumption increased
Well with 45 litre Fabia MK2 tanks you could get in over 50 litres and see the petrol and then vent it and get more in. So as it is. Different strokes for different folks in different models. As it is a driver with a daily driver should pretty much know about their car. If paying attention.

My 2023 MINI Cooper S Level 3 Electric leased from Motability which will be with me for 3 years & now a 2021 MG5 as a dog wagon.
I received a message on the car and on the MINI and a voice mail all telling me I will be receiving a call from the dealership I have as my preferred one and asap so no need to contact them. Unless I have any immediate concern.

Diesel consumption increased
The tanks capacity is well known, that of a tank out of a car. It is how much up the pipe, and venting that throws people. Maybe an additional 7 liters or so, How many liters uses for miles or km driven is all that matters and if you know how much you fill up time after time you should know.

New or improved hubs announced, Government EV Loans in Scotland and free & no longer free public charging places..
Stranraer is going past the port then coming back if coming from the north as many do, finding that time is tight behind hgvs. Those that know know time needs to be allowed. As far as Ayr and the A77 Instavolt and BP at the roundabout has been there with their expensive prices for several years. After Ayr there was Maybole now bypassed. After Ayr is where those might well charge if they want to at that stage. Pita locations when traffic at its busiest times but that is life. It is the next 40 miles that is pathetic or was. Those at Maidens, Girvan etc are not going to Ayr. The charger at Dowhill Farm Cafe can be a God send when the CPS administered are down. ..... My CPS account is now at £200 and no word of them taking any payment yet. PS Ionity Ayr is coming soon near Bannantyne HC,

Octavia 2 VRS TDI CEGA Blue Smoke
Welcome. A mod will move your post to the MK2 Octavia section. No spark plugs if a TDI. Was it injectors or glow plugs replaced?

Tonight on the DVLA website my car shows as having an outstanding Recall. I will not be contacting my dealer to check. It is a RECALL meaning it is the DVLA making sure the Manufacturers / Importers have the registered keepers contact details. The Battery Recall. (Not the brakes.)

DQ200 - Risky or not?
Luck of the draw. As much trouble as the DQ200,s had 2009-2012, then 2013-2015, 2015-2018 that is nothing compared to the DQ381,s are having since introduced. I would not have a 1.6 TDI CR with a DQ200. I would have a 1.0 or 1.2 TSI with one, or a 1.4 TSI non ACT. Not a 1.5TSI ACT. The 2.0 TDI 115 ps,s with a DQ200 DSG seems to be getting on OK. PS. 2013-2015 there are some DQ200,s that required Service Campaign '34H5' a software update, you want to check if it was part of that Service Campaign / Recall actions that it was done,.

There was no point other than clear info on No Licence and needing a licence Quadricycles. There is no need to be near your skin. I just posted some guff to read that covered the subject.- This might well account for poor state of UK roads, when is a toll road not publicly displayed as a toll road?
England kept voting in parties that are incompetent as they are. Scotland does the same with their governments but get landed also with the Westminster government as voted in by RofUk. The Skye Bridge was the most expensive toll road in Europe. There is corruption and waste everywhere because of politicians and others that can not run their own lives but run countries. Any change due any time soon? Are the Labour government going to break the contracts and buy out those to that hold all the cards,? Will the people revolt? Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland have lovely stretched of road EU funded. Just stretched. Fancy walls, sculptures and unnessery crap obviously. Money was plentiful for the few. For haulage of fish, timber etc, sometimes crawler lanes or passing places, but expensive ones.- New or improved hubs announced, Government EV Loans in Scotland and free & no longer free public charging places..
Stranraer pretty much a town needing investment. Lots of plans and little happens. Ok for chargers now, but if you are leaving Cairnryan and heading north you are not wanting to go south to charge or the same arriving from the north to get on a ferry. Pathetic on the A77, one rapid Turnberry out of service. One at Downhill Farm shop, one at Girvan finally working again and one at Ballantrae. Unreliable. It is a real problem for many. Finally common sense prevailed.- This might well account for poor state of UK roads, when is a toll road not publicly displayed as a toll road?
@Graham Butcher Scottish Labour and lib Dems in Scotland did the same with the likes of the Skye Bridge and hospital car parks etc. The contracts ended up being bought back after their financed amount was paid many times over so yes I know the waste of money. Hospitals, schools etc are still being paid back 10,s of times over. These roads payments are from the Westminster treasury and the UK road users and non road users are paying. Scotland has to pay for roads and bridges and not the General UK purse.- This might well account for poor state of UK roads, when is a toll road not publicly displayed as a toll road?
I watched the video posted when first on you tube. Interesting. Public private funded partnerships. Your pay per mile you posted about as well might well come. And seat belt cameras, mobile phones, as well as the ability to automatically slow vehicles with the latest technology fitted. So much tech about and the cost of transport private or commercial. Someone has to pay, or get caught out infringing UK laws.- Muzzy
Are you attempting to trace the leak? Are you sure it is that, and not the plugs, could or some other issue,? Have you read the fault codes if any logged and for misfires?- This might well account for poor state of UK roads, when is a toll road not publicly displayed as a toll road?
It is about roads elsewhere as well where the general public pay for private public partnerships for traffic on roads in England. What had it specifically to do with MK3 Skoda Superbs?- This might well account for poor state of UK roads, when is a toll road not publicly displayed as a toll road?
'Geoff buys cars' is a vlogger that speculates on cameras and their purpose. You do know who I mean do you not?- This might well account for poor state of UK roads, when is a toll road not publicly displayed as a toll road?
It answers the question another Vlogger asked about cameras and speculating on what and why.- Stuttering Superb
