DSG box
@Nico1881 Your car has a DQ200 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG. No servicing schedule. (2 oils, in box and in the MCU) http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/526175-which-gearbox Clutch Packs are covered with the Manufacturers Warranty on an new car, & the extended warranty bought before a car is first registered but not with the Warranties bought later. See that the DSG is covered in the All In pack. Is there enough getting done in 2 services that does not require paying extra. So are the Spark Plugs, the Brake Fluid. the Pollen Filter and a Air Filter getting changed? Is it Fixed Service, 2 services in 2 years. Or is it Variable / Flexible services?

So a 115ps 2.0 TDI with a DQ200 DSG (7 speed twin dry clutch ) The Oil can be changed. 2 oils, in the box and in the MCU, but there is no Service Schedule. It can be changed, there is no NEVER SHOULD IT BE CHANGED. I doubt that the Oil is the issue though. You need to visit an Automatic Specialist that knows about DSG,s.- Visually etc. My car of the day -today

@pzagor2Welcome. What do you have a FWD 1.5 TSI ACT DSG? How many miles or km & how long have you had it?- Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.
- Has anyone with a TSi e-tec Octavia.

Maybe the BMW / MINI recall of the 12,535 vehicles are nothing to do with vehicles built to be UK vehicles. So since there is that RECALL. & a DVSA RECALL in the UK things might be clear. ................. What was not clear for a while was the matter over BRAKE issues on new vehicles and people having to try and find out why their new orders were not being supplied. I have no idea if just ICE / PHEV or EV or all. EDIT. NORTH AMERICA>- DSG Woes
The RECALL '34F7' in Europe on cars 2009-2012 was not a RECALL as in a DVLA one, it was a voluntary and many cars never got it done. Started 2014. The World Wide recall started 2012. Then there is a period 2012-2013 when cars /DQ200,s according to Skoda / VW did not require the Synthetic oil changed to mineral and a software update. 2013-2015 is a Service Campaign in Europe. A software update. Started in 2017 '34H5' WHITE LETTER UK, a Service Campaign, started 2014 on cars 2009-2012. Australia has these as RECALLS. Repeated 3 times now as vehicles were missed. BLUE LETTER. NZ and the 2nd Recall. back in 2012 with the first one all cars with a DQ200 DSG got a new MCU. (No such letter / recall in Europe.) This is about the 2nd issue, 2013-2015. (Now to 2016 in Australia on some DQ200 cars.)- BCM update
The thing with Skoda Recall Actions or once again as they call them Recall Campaigns is they do not always contact a REGISTERED KEEPER & RECALL a vehicle. It can be SKODA SECRET SERVICE CAMPAIGNS, If the car does not go to a Main Dealers or go for servicing the driver, owner, person leasing might never hear and finds out on Social Media maybe. With a DVSA RECALL / SAFETY CRITICAL the Manufacturer via what ever means should be writing to Registered Keepers. Having someone without a clue at a dealership calling and saying THERE IS A RECALL & not knowing why is not SIMPLY CLEVER.- Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.
@Graham Butcher There are reports of a recall by MINI / BMW 12,535 vehicles, no idea in which countries and if left hand or right hand drive and if it matters. If it matters if Soft top or hard tops. There were 40,000 or so MINI Electric built in Oxford every year as far as i know. (i read) And then in the UK there is an actual DVSA Safety Critical recall on a few hundred cars. 459 What is smoke and mirrors about it?- Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.

@Graham Butcher 'Groan' Really, what is the issue? There were MINI,s from Oxford on the Car Transporter that went on fire.- Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.
BMW / MINI have had to do a STOP DELIVERY on NEW CARS due to brake issues. Then they have this issue. Never rains but it pours! **My MINI Cooper SE 2023 is not showing on the DVLA RECALL Site as part of the Recall.** (That means nothing as it might well appear come time..)- Which gearbox?
Yes it has a DQ200 DSG. No idea how you find out other than asking here, because that is what it has. You could ask the seller who might not know.- BCM update
Free because it is a Recall Action / Service Campaign. You should just have asked the person to go find out. Your answer is probably in the Karoq section , the Octavia section etc.- Pollen Filter can only be replaced as part of a Major Service?
@MJ1? Is it a 'All In' chart that shows what gets done & when? Is it FIXED REGIME service intervals or VARIABLE / FLXIBLE? 12 months / 372 days, or 24 months / 18,000-20,000 miles. Do you having something showing what a MAJOR Service is, or a MINOR or INTERIM, because SKODA UK dropped those terms in 2019 & went the Oil & Inspection Services and first at 3 years Extended Scope, then after that the Extended Scope each 2 years. The Consumables cost are not included in that other than the Oil & Filter & Sump Plug.- VED/£40k

- Adblue fun
Welcome. Sadly a common tale. Selling the car might well be an issue. Once the buyer realises the car does not use AdBlue or need topping up. As far as illegal, who will know if the car passes MOT,s. (Do you know it has been deleted, well obviously you do as you posted on a public forum.)- Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.

- Yeti - looking for purchase opinions
No i mean if i owned one (or was trading in them) and wanted to sell one i would not warn people off them. Pointing out they can be lemons does upset people that might own one and will be selling it.- Yeti - looking for purchase opinions
I would suggest you just avoid. (But then i am not selling one.)- vRS Owners, cars with a VAQ front diff, a question on the servicing and what you are being told at Skoda Main Dealerships?
@Hairy_Joe Maybe that is how it has stayed in the EU. Or maybe they should call a friend. Was that the Service Desk staff that told you or a Master Tech? They should know, and if the car is not driven hard then best do what they recommend, just as long as the person understands that it is a VAQ and not Haldex /4x4. - Škoda superb DSG sound when shifting from 3rd to 4th
