@rloor Did you buy the car used so do not know what adaptions a previous owner might have done?

I have not had much chance to ride my folding bike as i have either been looking after my sons dog or the weather has been crap. I got on it a couple of times this week and will be using it a lot next week. I see there is a new version out. The improvements / upgrades are something that were needed IMO.

@Agitated Why the title, is that your name? What is it Skoda knows about your 10 year old car and its need for many new injectors? There are others on here with older 1.6 TDI CR,s that are not having Injector Failures as much as you are.

Just the same old Skoda Secret Service, need to know, loose lips cost lives crap like with Service Campaigns, Recall Actions etc and Customers / Owners are those with no need to know. Truth of the matter is usually the person spoken to know jack sh!t about anything and nobody bothers telling them.

@Woohah They can not do it because they have not a Trained & Qualified Technician to work on an Electrified car. Mild, Plug in or BEV, But, it needs doing @ 40,000 miles. By someone that is qualified to do it. THEY NEED TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO IT. ? Were the Spark Plugs not changed at 40,000 miles / 4 years because there was no Technician that could work on an Electrified car / Hybrid? Were the Annual Oil changes the Hybrid requires by the schedule not carried out annually or any other items? So a 1.4 TSI PHEV with a DQ400-e DSG that has not had the Gearbox Oil changed at 45,000 miles is really requiring it being done as 5,000 miles over the shedule. An Owner / Customer is invalidating the Manufacturers Warranty if they had to claim. Any Dealership selling a car should know that the Warranty they have on a car is not valid because of the lack of that DSG service.

Got you, thanks. Lots of plenty other manufacturers cars are used to do the same in events where Skoda is not a main sponsor. JLR, BMW, Toyota, Fiat as an example last year in Scotland @ the UCI World Champs where i did not see many Skoda used.

Cars are written off all the time in the UK because beyond economic repair, often ones that never got to 100 miles from handover that were on new tyres with a daft driver. Lots of EV,s of any age are written off. If there is a Accident Damaged or a few accident damaged Fisker written off in the UK then they become the source of parts / donors. As it is a Fisker for much cheapness is an interesting idea. Maybe suitable to replace a Yeti, but it is not a Yeti sized car it is bigger. ? What are insurers quoting you for insurance of a Fisker?

@glv Please could you maybe just say what Sport, Autocross, Autotesting, Rallying, Sprinting, Hillclimbing, Treasure Hunts or whatever. Braided lines are worth every penny IMO, as is a Brake Fluid upgraded. There are many types of brake pads that suit different conditions or uses, track, fast road, wet use etc. Many might be marked not for road use as not great from cold for stopping. But then location location location and ambient weather makes a difference. Some fit them because seemingly their daily drive in the UK is via a track day.

@yosser65 Ask the Dealer Principal to tell you please what actually is the issue, software or other delaying the car. Just incase it is them or VW / Skoda holding back First Registrations or something for Fleet C02 emissions. If it is really software then so be it. They dropped Das Auto and changed to Honesty Matters.

Twin Charger not Twin Turbo. It has a Turbo & Supercharger. They are right. More likely a ring or piston, or actually 1 valve. It is a minefield getting a reconditioned engine due to the Cowboys there are about, as is getting a £1,000 used engine and it being duff, CAVE or CTHE.

Have the cars done at 2 years with customers paying and then the Dealership does not need to do Used 3 year old car Brake Fluid changes when selling Skoda Approved Used Cars and saying FMDSH. SWARCO, he must know the name. Runs Charge Place Scotland, Does the EV Charger Maintenance for most of Scotland's 32 Local Authorities. Bought the EV Charger Manufacturer that is now e-Volt and are the most common chargers that are on the CPS network. Most often broken. He charged at a slower speed (lower amp) on the 3 pin & then the 3 phase and hogged that charging place / BAY all night rather than moving the car later on & incase A.N.Other wanted in there to charge. It is the usual horlicks that is Charge Place Scotland or actually CPS being administered by SWARCO.

I finally had my overcharge repaid. It was only £13.13 I have have since received 4 emails telling me that due to the high number of things they are dealing with they will get to me come time. (paraphrase) They have not taken any money for charging from the last charge period so £29.44 that i was due not taken, and now i am due next time another £35. My card has worked consistently where chargers have been in service, lots are out of service. I have done a couple of charges where STRIPE took or authorised £1 then i charged and they took the cost of the charging and sent the invoice right away. These show on my account as paid, the outstanding as unpaid,

Lots of Skoda drivers on here and owners of cars who know if cars which they have as keepers are rusting or not. There certainly are certain models with common places they rust. Then many with no rust issues.

Welcome. The 'Parking Lights' are ignition off, indicator stalk down and one front and rear side light (position light is on) and one registration light. Car parked. engine off, maybe nobody in car. Is it the Side / Position lights. 2 lights to the front that are too bright?

Bound to. Hopefully councils will have their Community Wardens / Street Patrols on the case & identify the property responsible and then the occupants and be able to take actions. Warnings, written warnings, financial penalties, seizing vehicles etc. Then the Councillors, MP,s for that ward or constituency can decide what they are going to have happening as far a local public charging that the area requires. How much will come from their budgets and how much more the government need to be helping with this, or not if it has to be investors and companies splashing the wads.
