the truth about electric cars
Any more on the Tesla in the Edinburgh area & the BILL for £17,000. Not many cases of Flood ruined EV,s coming up so far & the media articles in the Edinburgh one never gave many examples of others. They will be too embarrassed to tell maybe....

Automatic light (DRL) not working anymore - early MkII
^^^Not 100% right then because elsewhere in Europe there was the need for Front & Rears. So not Sweden then. Which country i do not know, maybe not a EU one.

Automatic light (DRL) not working anymore - early MkII
Hopefully someone will be along that can help. One difference that you have in Sweden is that your cars have DRL,s on to the front and rear because of legislation in Sweden. Not so in the UK where anyone needed to enable them to do that.

Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.
I have one subject to a RECALL , coolant EGR, fire risk. Sitting 3 feet from an EV. Just as well as not driving the BMW. It will get into BMW in the next few weeks.

Coming up to three year service
If Required, was not at the First Major Service and people were being ripped off right left and centre. Not required is not 'Because the Tech / Fitter could not be bothered looking. Not looking at 4 years and then the next might be at 6 years and not at the next Minor Service. @Rory2018 & a VW Major Service was £299 including a Air Filter, Pollen Filter and Spark plugs 3 or 4 on engines under 2.0litre. My local VW Dealership would not do a Major Service or any services on a Skoda @ that price for me and i asked if there was some Cartel in operation and i would get the local media onto it. When i spoke to the Dealer Principal she apologised for the misunderstanding of the Service Desk staff. I thanked her and pointed out that they did it regularly and best set out their T&C,s. After that they did a few Skoda,s as i told people about the deal being better than at Skoda / SEAT.

Speed limit warning
You can set 2 different speed warnings. The normal one and also the Winter Tyre warning. So first breaking the max speed limit and the 2nd for the maybe losing your licence speed.

I had not read the article when posting a reply, and it was me that posted what i heard on the radio. So due to knowing nothing other than what i heard or about Sub judice or anything else i never guess. As it is not under any court yet if released. not even the court of Social Media / speculation...

My 2023 MINI Cooper S Level 3 Electric leased from Motability which will be with me for 3 years & now a 2021 MG5 as a dog wagon.
@wyx087 The bumf says their is a heat pump. Hard to believe, or if there is it is any good. But as it is just now it does the 100 miles or so and the !00% shows as 104 miles. So better than 3 miles kw/h. I had to move others cars and the 520 estate was near 10 minutes from firing up and the Shogun still iced passed that. MINI sitting with roof and windows open to dry out inside later once it gets above freezing and the sun comes around. I will pre-heat the MINI plugged in or not on the 3 pin charger and be sure it is plugged in and at 100% before any trips. Parts of the A90 still closed right now passed Forfar.

I never said that, neither did the news. Nobody said someone set their vehicle or others on fire. No idea what Criminal Damage to what. There will be news articles.

Coming up to three year service
@Rory So how long do you think since it became 6 years / 60,000 miles? Not been long. Since 2020. You do not even need a long memory to know this stuff. 2018 & then 2019. Before the change to Oil & Inspection & Extended Scope and pay for additional parts started.

Coming up to three year service
@J.R.Air filters can get wet and can get very dirty and very clogged up. And so can air filter boxes. Rural areas with STOOR, Cities with Dirty Busses / Taxis as Edinburgh was and the reek coming out of their tail pipes. The Air Filter Replacement was at the 2nd Major Service, 4 years / 40,000 miles in the UK. Included in the Fixed Price, not always checked let alone replaced. 5 minutes of the Service to check. Except now some are epic to get too. Location location location. Easy to look see, give the filter a shake, vaccum, blow through, or just stick in a new one or not.

Coming up to three year service
Brake Fluid change with Skoda in the UK since 2010 was first at 3 years and then each 2 years. Previously it was at 2 years then each 2 years. Until last years when with new Models. Mk4 Fabia and others it started showing first at 2 years then each 2 years. There are still Mechanics, technicians, fitters & DIY,ers that check for Brake fluid with a tester. PS What changes is that the factory fill is into a new system, pipes, hoses, seals etc. & then the Manufacturers Warranty in the UK is 3 years. 2 Years in other countries and World Regions, but also 5 in some like Australia.

Minus 3. Pre heating for 5 minutes worked fine. Heated seat was on as left set last light and heated rear screen and heated mirrors worked. Set ae 25 degrees interior when parked. All good. Drive a mile and great vision then into frozen fog and could not see 10 yards. That was in street lighting.

Repaying Skoda finance early/shortly after purchase.
Welcome. The Dealer or the salesperson at the dealership is at it and should be ashamed for telling you what suits them. Just get the settlement figure and pay it.

Classic cars 80's/90's untaxed for over 20+ years then become SORN.
It is over 20 years since the DVLA told me in writting i was having to pay them a penalty of £1,000 each on 2 vehicles for not declaring as SORN i had that were not ROAD TAXED and then selling them and someone that bought them registering them. They were write offs that were under repair and did not need to be on a SORN. They had no right under law at that time to FINE or take a PENALTY Charge or they likes. They were AT IT.

First morning away to go out in the MINI with ice on the Glass & the car a bit damp inside from the past few days. Not plugged in to pre-heat. Last few days of about 10 miles a day, 5 x 2 miles with Heating on, heated seat, AC and rear screen and heated mirrors, 2.5 miles kW/h showing. So lets see if the windows drip OK for door opening and how quick the glass inside and out is ready for the off without the use of de-icer. EDIT. Well it was starting to thaw when i started the car and just ice outside on the Windscreen. The Demister is f*****g useless. The Mirrors are not heated. It takes a while till heat comes out the vents. After glass clear then fine. But not quick so pre heating will be used if plugged in, or wanting in the car and away.

Is this a good price for the Superb L&K Saloon
??? Does a Diesel / SCR (Adblue) suit your use, journeys length from cold starts & annual mileage? ? Is the new car sitting there un-registered and ready to be collected? Is it in the Showroom and they need to register it before the end of the month?

Welcome. 1 Registered Keeper (owner if you like) it could be a dozen or many drivers. But that is true of any used vehicle.
