Front Discs and pads totally shot after 24,000 mls
The Brake discs or pads do not have 6,000 miles cover or the 6,500 miles / 6 months. SKODA_Warranty_Terms_November_2021 (2).pdf

DSG delayed response
@KyleTIf you can just open the Air Filter box and see if there is a clean fresh air filter in there. You can check the Pollen (cabin) filter and see that that has been replaced. The spark plugs should really have been changed by now on a 1.0 TSI so a record of that being done would be nice.

Vauxhall Corsa electric 2020 Fault (maybe faults) in first 6 weeks & various over the next 3 years.
Van became a pita just after I posted this. Back tyre was flat. That was me that ran over a screw yesterday. Back door latch would not open. There is where the security socket is in a bolted down cabinet that needs the door open to get at, and the tools are in there. It is 17 years old though only 117,000 miles. Also the tyre weld is in the drawer. So in a borrowed Audi A1 which I really do not fit in very well and it came up with TPMS warning. So been to Asda twice already to pump up tyres and get tyre weld. 1.4 TSI 122ps A1 nice enough and handles better than a MINI.

E-drive sound generator deletion/silencing?
If you know your car / vehicle is 'Silent Running' then you know that people and animals might not hear you and you need to be just as careful as if your vehicle makes a noise and there are deaf people or animals or stupid ones, or ones with headphones / plugs in ears, or headgear / muffs on. Total pillocks around on phones, in conversations are common walking out without looking. In Forfar there are Guide Dogs out under training constantly and i am aware that they seem to not know there is an EV coming to a halt at the lights / crossing and i see that the Guide Dog Trainer / Walker is not apparently aware the car is silent. That is even when they are not walking blind folder or without a blind fold.

Vauxhall Corsa electric 2020 Fault (maybe faults) in first 6 weeks & various over the next 3 years.
@lol-lolI have decided if the Corsa is sorted and comes back behaving i will extend the lease with Motability and keep it beyond August since it has the winter tyres fitted and the wind deflectors and does what is needed really. It can get handed back at anytime after August. My circumstances are changing though and if it was handed back now i would have the £71 a week and my VED exemption & i do not pay much in the way of insurance or maintenance running the vehicles i have. I have enjoyed the best of free and much cheapness EV motoring and am more than happy to give 'charger wars' a miss for a year or 3. Last weekend driving a BMW diesel estate reminder me just how economic they can be.

Cambelt change
@ Skoda Main Dealers it can be POA now. So pick a number any number according to the vehicle. Prices are getting to be like this in 2023 though.

Wheel corrosion
There has been the issue with various Skoda alloys & corrosion (white worm) for 2 decades. Try a google (search engine) like 'briskoda alloys white worm' or briskoda alloys corrosion warranty Usually the dealership employees dismiss it as being your fault, environmental conditions, products used etc. But them rejecting any claim is not their job, their job is to get the pictures, maybe have the Warranty Manager or someone who's job that is to arrange to have the corrosion / wheel inspected. They are getting really awkward on Warranty Claims, but you need to act like the spider in Robert the Bruce's cave.

DSG delayed response
If the OP was trying a 1.5 TSI ACT with 150 PS which has the same DQ200 DSG it does move off different from the 1.0 TSI 110ps DSG. Or from a 1.6 TDI and different from 2,0 TSI /TDI's. That is why VW were intending by now dropping using DQ200's that were not fitted to Mild Hybrids or PHEV's but have not yet done that due to circumstances. They will probably have to for the Euro 7 emission cars.

DSG delayed response
Your dsg is a DQ200 because it is FWD, no more than 192 ps or 250 Nm. Fleets might well be serviced to recommended manufacturers servicing. So if the spark plugs have not been changed or the brake fluid has not then you car has not been. The record of servicing is digital and on the VW Group system, So the dealer or any dealer or Skoda Customer Services can provide you with it, or someone on here will tell you how to find it online.

DSG delayed response
Whoever told you about the DSG knew nothing about them then. The DQ200's were early DSG's and do not need oil changes. So you are OK there. (So it is wet clutch DSG's that get Oil or Oil & filter changes, early ones @ 40,000 miles, some now are first at 80,000 miles) As i said, a FMDSH or a FSH actually is a history of what is done, not just simply like Oil & Inspection Service, & Pollen Filter, then Extended Scope. You want to know when or if the brake fluid is changed, the spark plugs, etc etc. Spark Plugs were due at 4 years or 40,000 miles. The pollen filter twice by now. The Brake fluid is at 3 years then each 2 years. Not that those all get done, but they should be when someone is Servicing to the Manufacturers recommendations, guidelines of schedule. If not been done, it is a 'Full history of stuff not done'.

It is a case of getting the correct coolant, not the correct colour.- Buying Advice
Welcome. My gut instinct would to be to avoid as well. You have no idea what has been done to it engine management wise. ? What does the service history show? Has the haldex been serviced twice?- DSG delayed response
Welcome. Small capacity 3 cylinder petrol turbo engine, 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG and a not small car. Maybe not run much recently. What service history has it got? FMDSH means nothing if just oil and filter changes and look see and report. Have you tried moving the shifter back to S as you roll up and then once you have moved on with the gears getting held before shifting up, put it back to D. Maybe try a tank of E5 Super Unleaded as well. 97 or 99 ron. Before any DSG (DQ200) reset, how many miles has the car done? Is there a nice clean air filter fitted, and the spark plugs need changed maybe.- Vauxhall Corsa electric 2020 Fault (maybe faults) in first 6 weeks & various over the next 3 years.
Any 'emissions credits' i saved with using an EV this year will be used up in the next week or so as i use my van. It has done 7.7 miles since i last filled it, and maybe an hour of the engine running with lights / hazards on. So that was £6 for 3.76 litres of diesel. I will do my 50 miles or so into Dundee and back and brim it to see just what my consumption is now in warmer weather, & i increased the pressure of the CrossClimates. If i can get 30 mpg then that is OK, any more than that is a miracle. EDIT. just got the 30 mpg and an ickle. 46 miles, 6.9 litres, £8.01.- Repair Emission Control System
Welcome. More info needed, like how many km / miles the car has done. Best you say what engine the car has & what is it that has been replaced so far.- Octavia 3.5, will 235/45/18 tyres fit?
? Is the OP fitting Snow Chains? http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/511761-octavia-vrs-mkiii-tyre-size-225-235- better route planner

They are about the most road bias AT's you get and are not going to be increasing the fuel consumption if using the right size.- Vauxhall Corsa electric 2020 Fault (maybe faults) in first 6 weeks & various over the next 3 years.
I really liked the Renault Clio e-Tech 145. The gearbox was as i like. Not the poor rear vision though, no heated seat or steering wheel. It looks like Audi will be giving the A3 size EV all the bells and whistles & likely a price to match. Skoda really need to move their jacksy.- The MG 4 and 5 EV and Maxus vans - Game changing cars & vans from SAIC
No rear wiper and no rear camera. Mental if you are sitting in traffic because it is snowing heavily. A heated rear screen can not be enough.- Considering a 2020 Kamiq 1.0 TSI SE L DSG - anything to be aware of?
@Seasider When your DQ200 'coasts' or as you say 'disengages' & the revs drop right down does it show D instead of D7 or D instead of D6, etc etc on your dash?- Visually etc. My car of the day -today
