If that was the USED CAR MULTI POINT CHECK done by them or they got the car in after that that should include the sevicing is up to date if the Skoda Approved Dealership is putting on a Skoda Approved Warranty. Ask the dealer principal if they want to rectify that and get plugs fitted while they have it so the Master Tech road tests the car, checks for fault codes.
  2. OK. Turbo, not supercharger there / just lost in their translation. At least a service history.

My suggestion. If you have a Tesco near try Momentum 99 rather. Enough detergent in the oil. you want the Octane rather and stuff the Royal Dutch Shell and the mark up. No sign of Spark Plugs there, not specific, as Inspection Service is that Oil & Inspection Service. Interval Service. Used Car Multi Point Check. Nothing, look see and report done by Steve Wonder. *Open the Air Filter box and see if nice and clean and fresh.*

If they put a Skoda Approved Warranty then as Skoda / Skoda Dealers know it should be serviced to the Manufacturers Guidelines, recommendations or even schedule / spec. They are quick enough picking up owners on that. ? So were the spark plugs replaced with a record of that? If not they should have done that before sale. Brake Fluid as well changed. Sauce for the goose and sauce for the gander type thing. If the plugs are not replaced they can get on and do them, and bill themselves.

Not normal or as designed to behave. You had best have an Automatic Gearbox specialist familiar with DQ200's check it out. Maybe a reset / software update, maybe clutches, maybe anything. Software update / Service Campaign 34H5 was on DQ200's from 2013-2015 so yours should not be included. Unless they have now included them in Europe, because VW Group have recalls / service campaigns called in other world regions. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-actions ? How is the 1.4 TSI. has it had new spark plugs, a fresh air filter. SERVICED CORRECTLY! Could you stick in some E5 super unleaded 97 or 99 ron and see how it goes, if you are running 95 ron Unleaded E10.
  6. @Carlstonhas posted the 15" wheel specs here. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/503390-anyone-fitted-r15-wheels-to-mk2-fabia-vrs Page 2 has a chart for wheel spec. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/217351-oem-tyre-sizes-and-alternatives http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/428592-tyre-size-mk-2
  7. Just ask for £100 knocked off their sale price & in writing the warranty with the car covers the VAQ diff. They hate that, they will likely offer the Service Plan for 2 years at no cost, with 2 MOTs. That Service MOT plan is crap from Arnold Clark. (How it works is that goes down as an expense so off the profit they pay tax on, but costs them nothing because they try screwing you at the Services which are basically an Oil & filter change, a look see and advice Brakes serviced, replaced etc, a lovely vid showing the car they sold you needs work done, and if they can fail you on the MOT.) If they were to have the VAQ serviced i would not even trust them on that. £100 off the car even if it costs you £130 to have a proper mechanic do it, not their trained Technicians.
  8. OK. No surprise they were too tall. So is your car running lowered / modified suspension or just tired suspension?
  9. I am surprised they hardly fit, i ran that size or the 215/40 R 17's on Mk2 vRS. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/395420-tyre-upgrade-from-2054017
  10. What size are those you have on the Fabia now, 205/45 R 17 . That is oversized for Mk2 Fabia if you have as the vRS OE tyres on Gigaro are 205/40 R 17 but some do fit 205/45 R 17 or 215/40 R 17 on vRS / Monte carlos. Or have you 195/45 R 17's on? They will sell well, maybe on here. @Carlstonshould be able to tell you all the numbers for the 5x100 15" wheels you want. Or they are in many threads in this section or the Mk2 Fabia section.
  11. If a DQ381 gearbox the Guidelines / Schedule / Recommendations from Skoda are a 80,000 mile Oil change even if others might recommend sooner and the filter changed. As to the VAQ, then that is @3 years / 30,000 miles for servicing and Skoda / VW Dealership staff forget to tell people, and with Mk4 Octavia if you do get told they are saying @ 20,000 miles. You are not going way over schedule with a DQ381 @ 50,000-60,000 miles. You are with a VAQ diff though. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/501456-front-differential-to-gearbox-oil-leak
  12. I did think you might ask locally like at a VW Group Dealership or Independent and ask who they might recommend or use for DSG repairs. Not take the car to the person / place mentioned in your OP.

It is a wonderful 'buyer beware thread'. People in the UK or Globally might rear the T&C's before committing money to distance / online buying.
  14. Sorry, and just noticed a 3 cylinder. All the cheaper for the spark plugs, hopefully replaced and gapped correctly and no ignition coil damage.
  15. What was involved at the Major Service? I assume not a Cam belt / tensioner replacement. Has that ever been done? How many miles has the car done, were the spark plugs replaced in 2018 or 2022 as per Guidelines / Recommendations regardless of miles, or checked, or changed at this Major Service. Was the Air Filter replaced, or even checked? Until they or someone find the issue maybe get a tank of E5 super unleaded 97 or 99 ron petrol in rather than E10 95 ron if you use that. Summer spec E5 & E10 should now be in the filling station. Just £3 extra a tank fill to see if it works with Tesco Momentum 99 or Sainsbury 97 ron min.
  16. First find the trusted Auto Specialist in your area that has experience of DQ200 DSG's and find out if it does need the clutch packs replaced. Then you might find out how often they have to do DMF,s. Your car is very low miles and might need nothing like these jobs carried out or that expense. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/507754-gearbox-mounttop-strut-mount
  17. Simply it is set on Fixed Servicing for Oil & Filter changes. Oil & Filter changes is not Servicing & Maintenance where everything does not need doing every year. It might well need an inspection / check if you leave others to do that. Service according to your use. Stuff is only missed out if you do not make sure it gets done, do not trust because on a service plan they will be. That Sunroof needs serviced, the Haldex & DSG does, brakes, air filter etc. Location location location and environment.
  18. Not everyone buying from them might be from the UK though. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/512820-kopaceksuperskoda
  19. This makes sense, a family EV car from Skoda shown by their publication favoured for showing what cars will look like. Not just blobs. Hatch & much needed estates. http://autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/all-electric-skoda-octavia-works-join-new-ev-line Then it is the long trailed Elroq is it not. The less expensive now than some Fabia, Polo sized Maybia. The Vision 7S concept with a name given.
  20. They will allow owners enough room for confusion and for them to have to ask at dealerships or on social media. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/504481-servicing-intervals By the time the first ones are at 2 years old there should be clear schedules, pricing etc regarding RWD or AWD ones.
  21. Guest_ replied to jorg's topic in Reviews
@jorgAt least now people might see your review. Funnily lots of people seem to not have a look on Social media / forums for others opinions or experiences before distance buying.
  22. You have to go a long way back before Skoda Roomsters to find a car in Europe / EU that does not require at least one rear fog light for Type Approval / C&U.
  23. Guest_ replied to jorg's topic in Reviews
It is a genuine company, maybe just a problem for those not in the EU buying from them. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/509169-any-one-bought-from-kopeacekcom http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/508439-megapartseu-usage
