skoda superb shuddering on take off
Well they do not have spark plugs, but then there are Glow Plugs, Injectors, fuel filters & newer both DPF,s & SCR. So servicing and maintenance and the possibility of issues with a diesel are pretty much of a sameness. Then the only too common water pump issues.

Fuel gauge slow to move from full
It was a balls up. a total horlicks. Then what they tried next was even worse. So they are still up sh!t creak as far as software goes. VW Group will be the last to be trusted with Driverless technology. They best sort out Lane Assist, Auto Braking and SOS. Then there are Speed Limiters to be fitted to the next Type Approved cars. Vorsprung Durch Technik. Dream on.

Engine oil issues
No. Not a blast. Do not run over filled, or underfilled. ??? When was the oil even checked before the first warning? 1 litre required from a Low Engine Oil light / message is pretty much in a 1.0 TSI. Is that actually what the message said 'Add 1 litre'. If you had opened the bonnet and not even put any oil in the message might have stayed off for 100 km. Dip the oil when stone cold and see where it is on the dip stick and be sure it is up in Area A when the engine unstarted. Then the Oil level check is at Normal Operating Temperature, parked on the flat after a few minutes. So after 90*oC indicated and before 5 minutes.

@Felix2021 'Cheaper' never worked and the Inhouse is now out of house to find anyone that can sort out a dogs dinner. & another CEO walked. Pockets filled though. http://fullycharged.show/blog/why-volkswagen-sacked-herbert-diess

Wind deflectors mk2 estate
Got the T-shirt. Actually loads. Over the years I found once warm enough and fitted right most did not need the clips. As for ones taped on, I have lost many of those. Well usually just 1 side.

Wind deflectors mk2 estate
It requires the Robert the Bruce Spider technik. They are all moulded the right length and the cars are identical. You have to retry fitting and when you get that right they fit. Then you see where you were getting it wrong.

Fuel gauge slow to move from full
Smart engineers would have sorted out door and hatch seals and sunroof drain pipes. Water pumps and Chain Tensioners. Then not allowed defeat devices to be introduced. Even designed fuel filler flaps that do not freeze closed. But VW never keep Smart Engineers they let the CEO,s like Martin Winterkorn that was an engineer's engineer sign off Euro 5 emission engines with rubbish components. Then they take IT in house and think they know better than Microsoft or the likes. Smart engineers took the jail time for the VW board and others would not work for VW.

Tyre wear
Probably not. Your Volvo on a different manufactures tyres might have worn at a different rate. It appears not to be a wear rate thing. More an uneven wearing of the outer edges. A year or so on of the Enyaq / ID 4,s on the roads then Dealership staff, tyre fitters and owners should be getting to know how the tyres wear with the use they get.

^^^ Good stuff. The OP was about a diesel so an engine without spark plugs.- SEAT & Skoda diagnostics
They get to attempt to repair successfully. If they have bought in a bad one then tough luck and they have to suck it up. Best reject now then.- SEAT & Skoda diagnostics
Maybe best that you do. Is that all the Warranty you have? Surely they gave 3 months. You have consumer rights and the car is currently not fit for purpose.- SEAT & Skoda diagnostics
@alessio92 Sorry to hear this. ? Is this the 1.6TDI you posted about? ? What age and how many miles on it? EDIT. So a 2013. Likely / almost certainly had the Defeat Device Emissions fix. So might cost the SEAT Dealership some money to fix. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/508648-coil-light-flashing...-possible-causes http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/508665-dpf-for-dummies @alessio92 PS Least of the issues. But TPMS warning tend to come up leaving dealerships if tyres / pressures are changed an the TPMS not reset. Often a warning of lax pre-sales prep.- dsg clutch differences
2.0 TDI or TSI never had DQ200 Twin Dry Clutch DSG's. Just cars / vans with 250 Nm or less. 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.8 TSI's, 192 ps or less FWD or 1.2, 1.4 or 1.6 TDI FWD,s.- MK3 245 vrs reliability? Skoda still quality?
'Much Cheapness' is OK if you have mates rates or are in the trade. After your last car and experience walk away. Their Service is nothing, anyone can do that. ?? How did it drive / perform?- My dealer wants 570 euros for a two year service
In Hungary it is check they are still there and not on A N Other's car as they try to fill up with cheaper fuel in Hungary.- Inspection service
That is where the error starts. We should all get that. There are the Owners / Directors, their Dealer Principal, the manager, maybe one and the same. Sales manager, their staff, finance director, HR / Wages etc etc. Service Manager, their staff. Workshop, workshop manager, master tech, techs / fitters and then what goes with that. Maybe VW / Skoda UK's top people are the issue in not expecting more from their Franchised / Authorised dealerships and training. They just keep moving them around to front the business. So many Skoda UK CEO's and Brand Directors since 2012. Not a good thing. They just wipe memories and move on. Always onward and upwards, or they are offski. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/508591-skoda-skala-warranty-and-poor-customer-services http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/508567-suggestions-on-where-to-purchase-a-spare-car-key- Winter wheel size for Superb 280 Sportline MY21
That would be Skoda / VW UK's contracted people you were speaking to. You expect too much for them to know anything about cars. Or even know a man or woman that does. Glad you got to speak at a dealership with someone that might well know.- Inspection service
Scotland biggest dealership group which is also in the rest of UK are no better, or some of the next biggest dealership groups. The biggest even have the courses at their own colleges for training those in the trade. https://gtg.co.uk https://gtg.co.uk/about- Skoda vrs 2019 petrol dsg black smoke on heavy acceleration
Best do that. A qualified tech had best look it over, plug it in, check what shows, road test and report. Before that maybe have a look at the Air Filter just to see how that is. ............ Not related, but has the VAQ Diff been serviced correctly at 3 years / 30,000 miles? Needs doing. Not optional, it is to Manufacturers Recommendations, Guidelines, Schedul or whatever. To keep a Warranty Valid.- Inspection service
A drug dealer or even a car dealer might know about servicing and 4x4's. A member of the Service Reception / desk staff might not as they might know nothing about cars, mechanical engineering or many other things. Knowledge of cars / vehicles is not a requirement and the job is one with On Job Training from someone else that does not know. Do not expect the Manager of the Service Desk to know either.- MK3 245 vrs reliability? Skoda still quality?
Possibly. They might say FSH. So what is the history. Were the spark plugs changed, the VAQ serviced. The brake fluid changed.? Doubt it or it would be at a Skoda dealership. So I expect the wheels are rufurbbed. Check which wheel has the odd one out tyre. Maybe all are good. Look for the body repair. Check the spare. Check the windscreen, chips, scratches, poor fit. Even open the air filter box. Dip oil cold before car started. Look at coolant level. Is it very full. Too full. Wind them up. If not enough petrol for a long road test ask then to put in petrol. Or say you will put in a gallon because you are going for 30 miles. They will love you. Not.- MK3 245 vrs reliability? Skoda still quality?
Buy it if the T&c,s are good and they are covering stuff that might not have been serviced properly but they supposedly checked, approved and sold you. But once you have the salesperson all excited thinking they have a sale. They have checked about your holiday, been to see their manager to get the best deal because you are a pal. Walk. Say you can not sign today. Then you ask for them to throw in the extended warranty and serviced plan at the original cars asking price without extras. And do not put the VED on finance. Just do a DVLA monthly DD. Still go home and think about it. And do not trade in a car. - dsg clutch differences
