Dragonfly on my fence just now. I didn't bother getting my phone out as I knew I wouldn't be quick enough. After three or four minutes I thought well, in for a penny. Dragonfly stayed around for a couple of mins after too. Lovely to see:

Petrol flap snapped
I've suggested getting a touch up set. Doubt it'll happen. To be honest, it's seven years old, all four alloys are knackered, it's got car park dings, a score across the NSF window which arrived after it was washed (Mrs Gaz wears rings). All things that'd drive me nuts, but if I fixed them they'd soon be replaced. A paint chip on plastic is just something else to try to not look at. G

Petrol flap snapped
Loctite All Plastics seems to have done the trick : Unfortunately not before Mrs Gaz dropped the flap on to the drive for no apparent reason, chipping the paint: Gaz

Petrol flap snapped
Yeah that's come up ta. I've got JB Cold Weld, but it looks like Loctite All Plastics might be the one to try for this particular application. Unit looks simple enough to change if all else fails. Gaz

Petrol flap snapped
Mrs Gaz has just managed to snap her plastic petrol flap clean off 🙄: It's a clean break. Has anyone glued one back on before? I'm wondering what glue might be best, or whether to just get a new one and be done with it. Ta Gaz

Damaged tyre
Agree with everyone else. That's not for repairing in my opinion. Regardless of whether it's holding air, the tyre is damaged and structurally compromised. A potential blow-out waiting to happen. Gaz

Karoq or Superb
I'm 197cm and my mk1 Superb was, well, superb. Why not see, and try them both, then make a decision from there. I've beed pleasantly surprised by the 1.0 engines, but that's only been short tests, don't know how they'd feel loaded up, or living with, long term. Gaz

jars' 2005 Fabia vRS
Well I'm still looking forward to going through airport security with my new hip joint and associated scaffolding, but I reckon you've knocked my fun into a cocked hat. Can just see the airport security faces when they realise you're ticking https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/6c7bebdd-6c69-4fce-9df1-a5ff068c21e2#WlQ8pwii.copy Gaz

jars' 2005 Fabia vRS
Well I popped in just to see what's going on with your Fabia vRS only to come across the last two pages! It's 9:45am on the 6th as I'm reading this, so I guess there might be a short delay in any updates 🙄 All the best Jars - see you on the other side. Even though I don't know you, my thoughts are with you Gaz

Hello from New VRS owner
Nah, and I don't think I will either. The vRS had a Revo Stage 1, which put it just north of 300bhp, and could be entertaining. But the Golf seems quite nicely balanced as it is and I don't feel like i'm missing out. G
