Apparently this guy was on his way to Goodwood when he fell foul of the boys in blue.

Even if the £60 ticket is a fraction of the price of the veyron (the sun article), 3 penalty points are a quarter of the points needed to get a ban....

Makes up for all the times I've had to stick to 50 on the 27...

I would say the 3 points and £60 may well be speculation on the part of the Sun. It was on French plates so there is every chance it has a French owner/driver.

I wanted to come along, but Friday afternoon, I learnt I had to cancel my return flight and spent Saturday working in Paris :(
