Where's our resident Panda owner when you need him? :D

I've driven the Panda and it's great fun, but does struggle a little until the revs get above 4k. The interior seems absolutely fine and well made, to me. Unusual high-up driving position and gearchange in the dash may not suit all tastes.

the cost comparison is unfair, the 1.3 swift is 93bhp,close to the panda but can be haggled down to under 7k,and i'm sure the sport easy atains the 100bhp per ton,as they re only a whisker over the 1000kgs

Swift Sport is about 1100kg, coupled with 125bhp = over 100bhp/ton :)

EDIT: Thats kerb weight, Gross weight is 1400kg.

Curb Weight is the actual weight of the truck without any passengers or cargo in it. It’s the base weight that is used in subtraction to calculate the total weight of the vehicle with passengers and cargo.

Gross Vehicle Weight is the total weight of the loaded vehicle. This includes the vehicle itself and the cargo that is loaded within that vehicle.

Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings are the ratings that are calculated by the manufacturers as to be the amount of weight that the vehicle will be when the vehicle itself is weighed filled with gasoline and loaded according to manufacturer’s specifications.

so for instance a Fabia vRS or mk 1 octy gross weight is prob 1650kgs...
