Dont they drink more fuel than a skyline to

lush noise tho:)

you could always get an lpg conversion !!!!!

If you want a 2 seater then how about the esprit V8. Awesome fun and cheaper than you think, although I am biased??

For track work the Noble should be in that price range and they are a tad rapid too??

Just a thought

Nah the Skyline is regular in the 4-5 MPG range, the guy at the garage reckons the TVR will hover around 20-25, the TVR is not your average 2 seater sports car its like a harley cruiser shedloads of power but not mad fast.

I need to do 25 miles a day in a car not many you cry why not use the skyline?, because i look at the skyline and its gone for a month to get fixed!

P.S I hate Lotus but the noble is a decent call

The wife reckons i'll keep the Vrs when all is said n done because the Skyline aside i have kept nothing longer

or what about a last generation rs6?

I do think they are the business

rs4/rs6 both the ****** love urm both, i want the new 1 but im slighlty down on budget

I went looking at these at a jap place in warrington before i got my megane, they had one of those forester sti's in that was modded lowered, exhaust, black wheels etc....i was very impressed, lots of space, very different and plenty of power:thumbup:my only concern was mpg but if your thinking of a TVR or Evo then i guess its not your concern.

Edit: forgot to say, they had an awesome Evo 8 in when i went;) just checked there website Main & they've still got it in! Its abit over your budget tho.

Paul.

Legacy GTB if you want something jap. Quite a Q car like the MK1 was at one time of day

Vauxhall Vectra VXR... 2.8 twin turbo or something?... Apparently they don't do corners but in a straight line are just awesome....would be my choice...

New Lexus IS250 for £20k then stick a TOMs supercharger on it

Have sent you a PM on a little Gem I know of :D:D

Let me know if you dont get it

Balls to all that Jap stuff.

Keep the Vrs and buy yourself a series 1 3.2s boxster with low miles for about 12-15k.

Put it on low miles policy and enjoy the Octy for its reliability and blow away the VXR, Type R's, Scooby's and all that with some class.... oh reliably German too!!!

Servicing can be done through less than expensive specialists and you wont lose much should you wish to sell in a year or two.

How bout that then???

Davo

Without being political,I suspect the world will be your oyster when the second hand performance market falls off a cliff next year.

Sit tight for a bit

I think the whole car markets already in free fall, like most things cash is king

RX-8.

Fast car.

Handels better than anything else in its class.

Fun to drive.

And looks the dogs ********.

4 seats.

4 door.

Funn to drift too.. hahaha.

But dont get one out of warrenty.!!!!!

Only Mazda will work on ****le engines, and if they go wrong outside of warrenty they will rape you on fixing it.!

Something to consider..?

how about a second hand monaro even though its a vauxhall still a very nice car or i think its a bit over budget but i was following a new vxr8 the other day and it looked sweet and its a v8....

I love VXR8's

Wicked looking and sound even better!

Agree about the Monaro.

350Z?

RS4?

Passat R36?

I'd go V6 RS4 with your budget and keep a few ££££s change.

Like others have mentioned, wait a while and you'll get a lot more for your money.

Wait till the winter and you'll probably get yourself into a V8 RS4 with 25k ;)

how do you say subaru's suck mate? ever owned a tidy one

get an evo and see how many times it breaks down, servicing costs will kill your wallet(300 per service twice a year if you hardly use it)for the sort of money you got i'd get the new s3 audi and get it mapped 300 plus horsepower german reliability, job done

Well i would say this advise... everyone gets swayed going in there mates new rides...even if they have a octavia vrs..... i would keep the car ;)

But if you do there is 0nly one car...

Escort Cosworth........

the only car i am changing too!!!!!!
