Bought myself another Pressie

Featured Replies

After meeting up with Briskoda member Zero yesterday, I got the buying bug after listening to his ICE and bought myself this;

FLI-FT12-TWIN.jpg

  • Custom Twin subwoofer bass-box
  • 2 x 12" Fli Frequency subwoofers
  • Total 600 Watt RMS / 2000W Max
  • Pre-wired into 2-ohms
  • Dimentions: 630(L) x 350(W) x 380(H)mm

At only £105 off ebay with free delivery, I thought it was a bargain.

All excited now

It'll all soon spiral out of control and before you know it your car won't move under it's own steam because of the amount of bass ;)

gorgeous! What's the best fitting location for it?

I'm taking out the drivers seat and sitting on it.

Cool cool. There is a DIY guide on here for running the power lead through the bulkhead if you get stuck

You have me worried now mate, as you might end up helping me.:D

The guide is just for feeding the cable through the gromit, and says to remove trims etc, not setting/wiring up

Was only messing mate, it's easy peasy lemon squeeze.

We can use my car as a base model any ways being as i have the same subs and the wiring isn't too shabby ;)

I've made a list of a couple of other things we'll need as well

1. 1 packet of 20 Embassy Number 1

2. Between 5-6 Cups of coffee to be had at set intervals during the course of the installation

Oh! everybody, its arrived

im still waiting for gillywibbles write up from last year for installing a bass box.

Hi mate, I wired up the smaller version of that (only one 12') in mine the other week.

Excellent little thing, I only paid £50 for mine so pretty happy, gives a nice deep bass note, but not loud enough to let everyone know its there..

Fingers are killing.

Stage 1 complete, got the power lead through the firewall.

What amp is it using, I know the single uses a Loaded 250.

The netting is standard on vRS models IIRC
