My name is Dave and I run a mk1 octy vrs. I have joined the site and am looking forward to all the interesting debates about Fabias beating Veyrons etc. It seems like a really friendly place round here, except for the moderators one or two seem like t0ssers particularly the the mk1 octy section bloke.

Anyway hope to see some of around as I'll be popping in and out from time to time.

One quick question while I'm here can anyone recommend me some tyres for my octy ;)

Hi Dave, welcome to the site. I read somewhere that it has been conclusively proven that round tyres are best for the Octavia, though some Fabia owners may want to tell you otherwise, don't beleive them.

If you post in the Maintenance and Performance section you may well get a better range of replies, or I could just delete it :).

Hello there, I've usually stuck to purchasing black ones, if that helps your tyre enquiry.

:wave: Can I reccomend that you join freedom and then you can post in ask a tech, to get a much more proffesional view as to the tyres you require. Please remember that the 2.0l fabia will take anything like a king. Also the moderators are a lovely warm sensitive bunch of people, all beit over paid :)

I normally call them "Woosung Dark Spins" ;) (based on the bloke I know who had them on the back of an Omega 3.0l).
