Still getting over the fact that you've PX'ed though!! You forgot to tell me that bit

Steve

Q. Why do Volvo's come with a a dog guard fitted as standard?

A. Stops his guide dog licking the drivers ear as he's driving.

What next? A Nissan Micra and 20 mph crawls to Lidls on pension day?

How would you put a dog guard in a saloon car

its not really an old persons car, the old people would get too confused with the center console alone, never mind the buttons on the steering wheel :P

Hi does this one come with the snow chains to get you through the Swedish winter?

Congratulations as this one is a very nice car.

stop trying to kid yourself, you are convincing no one:P

I too looked at one of those when I sold my vrs as my brother used to be a salesman for Volvo and could get me a great deal, the only thing I didn't like about it was the lack of space in the boot.

Was nice to see your fabia at the RR day, shame we wont be seeing it blasting round s/w/n/yorks.

Good luck with the new car

hmmm ... i'm not sure about volvos tbh. The styling on some is nice.

However, my father in law has ALWAYS ran them and the engines on the last two seem to have given up before hitting 150k. Perhaps it's just me,but I'd expect a little more from a brand wanting to be perceived as 'premium' and having a reputation for being reliable.

Nope Its back to standard now

All I can say is 130bhp is not enough, Ive lost 100bhp and it feels like a snail :(

And secondly the standard vrs brakes are pants. 288mm is not enough lol

Cant wait to get my new car now...... A week driving a standard fabia should make the new one feel even more special

I feel slightly better now, knowing at least that the special bits have been removed. That's gonna be one hell of a classifed ad!

And the vultures are at the ready to pounce :D

I hope you're not talking about me Matt! I think I've got everything I need anyway :D:rofl:

Mind you, did you ever fit the diff John??! :rubchin:

Steve

Oh dear...I hope yours is reliable. My best mate has had his since new and it has spent so much time in the garage. Electric faults, battery going flat, cd changer packing up, seats wobbling about, engine cutting out...

He will have had it 3 years in September and its going...fortunatly the Garage he bought it from has just become a Subaru dealer! I think thats the way forward for him lol.

The 2.0D is a really good engine when it works! Hope you enjoy it!

Slap me if im wrong, but are these volvo,s the ones that are based on the new focus chassis? When you look at one side by side with a focus they look very similar

i've been through John's for sale section, I wanted the PD160 :( for SWMBO's fabia togo with the pipercross panel I bought at Awesome the other week. The Apline stereo does look tempting as my radio keeps turning itself off or just not turning on in the 1st place.
