I wondered out of interest how many people get engine lights coming on? I have only owned my Octavia for a few months and it always seems to have a light on! Maybe I am just unfortunate! :(

I should have put that on the poll! doh! Lucky you, I have been unfortunate by the sound of it.

or manbe my EM light does not work ;-) My car has been far from perfect, but I won't complain too much as she is on 133.3k at the moment and I wanna go to work tomorrow morning!

Not sure how many people have replied to the pole - can you modify it, or maybe better still start a new poll and get the old one removed by one of the site admins, otherwise it going to paint a biased view.

It's happened once ......Lamda probe. Car ran just fine as well.

mine used to come on once a week when I had the reddot map on.

now it before and after it has never come on.

I am glad there are some people who have never had one on. I don't know how to add it onto the poll - can anyone advise?

As for mine its the first time I have owned a car with an engine light, the Felicia's don't seem to have one luckily. Hopefully it might stay off for a while!

ABS/TC light once came on for about 20 minutes then went out, the dealer found no fault codes and said a sensor had probably just got a bit of dirt in it.
