The Piccies of the seats are in the new brochure and prices

Škoda - Brochures & Test Drives - Your instant brochure

Standard Equipment (over vRS)

18” ‘Limited Edition’ alloys (225/40 R18 92Y)

Anthracite grey metallic paint previously not available on vRS

Bespoke design ‘Limited Edition’ full leather upholstery

‘Limited Edition’ tag with unique production number of car

Maxi-dot trip computer

Probably all get picked up as company cars by Leasing companies; they're never too fussy on options, just want a good 'headline' spec.

If you scroll down to pages 14 - 15 of the brochure there are 'full' details of the SE vRS with pics of the, IMHO, rather smart two tone leather sports seats.

One interesting point from page 12 is that the regular vRS TFSI is now available with DSG gearbox! That will please a few on here.

does it get the flappy paddles though? There's no point in having the dsg without them imo

They had stopped taking orders for the vRS unless they have started again now htye've implemented the new interior parts. I can only assume this must be the case if they are offering the DSG box.

In Germany the flappy paddles come with the telefon option if DSG is ordered. They come together with the multifunctional steeringwheel.

Happy Newyear! :D

Seeing as the leather seats are being re trimmmed and are not factory fitted, I assume they wont have heated seats either.

Thats pretty poor if that does turn out to be the case.

The spec should have been:

Jumbo/2Zone pack

B14 18" alloys

Privacy glass

Xenons

PDC

But considering the way the economy is heading it might not have been wise to load them up with goodies which would naturally jack the price up meaning no bugger would buy them.

the flappy paddles option is in the uk brochure on page 17

Available on Octavia vRS

3 spoke multi-function steering wheel for radio

and telephone with Bluetooth® and paddle shift (DSG only) £417.39 £62.61 £480.00

seems that now also includes bluetooth and maxidot as the BT is not listed as an option on its own. pretty cool

Why are the CO2 emissions higher on the TDI CR estate than the hatch ?

Is it cos it weighs slightly more and makes a slightly different shaped hole through the air? Maybe the boot spoiler on the hatch is more efficient than the one on the estate. Odd how it only effects the TDI without DSG tho...

They look like Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s, but seem to have too many spokes.

If, however, they are similarly lightweight that may be a redeeming feature over their style.

PS> Just checked; the Octy wheels are 15 spoke - Pro Race 1.2s are 12 spoke. Hmm ...

..... did a bit more research and reckon that the 'LE' wheels are Team Dynamics Monza R in 7.5J x 18 as seen here;-

Today I was reminded where I've seen those wheels before (as saw one).

Let's hope Skoda don't go the same way as MG then

Am I the only one who likes the wheels, but not the colour grey!?

The grey looks very nice in the flesh, and is metallic unlike many other similar VAG 'greys'.

I think it's a tester as so many people asked for it. It's available in some countries when you order a VRS.

You guys know your stuff...

I can't order my new vRS company car till March - do you think there will be any LE's TFSI hatches left by then for the lease company to order?

Lets say it's 200 TFSI's hatchbacks, 150 TDI hatches and 150 TDI estates. That doesn't sound like many...

Who knows, it depends on how many are sold beforehand. If it goes like the Fabia SE then they were rationed to dealers and there was little to be done on price etc. Given the current climate that might be different this time.

That's my theory - a 19k car in this climate would sell slower than the Furby LE did in 2007. Have to cross my fingers and hope... Still don't like the wheels tho, but we already have 4 vRS's in the company car park and would like something a little different...
