I have just purchased my first skoda! After searching for ages for a new car I settled on a 2004 Fabia vRS. 3100 miles, full leather and usual spec. After having a 1.1l M REG FIESTA and an 03 1.2 clio anything seems good. After a year of careful driving I could finally get insured for under 2 grand on a half decent car.

I took a bit of stick from my mates when they found out ide put a deposit down on the vrs. You should see there faces now when I leave their gti's and astra sri's in a cloud of black smoke!

Wanted some advice of mods. Only one so far is a audi RS badge on the boot. Looking at a remap along with sports exhaust & cat, better inductoin, maybe the cupra one. also sutble body mods, grills etc. Based on the south coast so any local garages that you have used let me know.

Custom tweaked generic re map for now awesome rolling road proven 173bhp/346ft lbs

Going to take it down to JKM in portsmouth for new pads, a new back box and remap. Doing the cupra intake and panel filter myself before that. Think im going to keep the alloys on the car maybe powder coat them black. Getting a new grill which im going to colour code not too keen on the chrome surround.

Quite a step up isn't it Josh! My VRS certainly shut my doubter friends up. I'd wish you luck as well with the mods because if you declare them which I'm sre you will and you are still very young it will send your premium through the roof. My VRS is standard and plenty quick enough for me espcially with all the cameras in my area.

brilliant car the vrs .

went looking for a car with a friend , first place we went to had a black 06 fabvrs with full leather, "buy that i said ", PETE its a skoda she said , "drive it says i ", 30 seconds down the road she loved it , bought it and loves it to bits.

Yeah Ive looked at the web site, products look good. Dont want one with a mesh grill. Want one that takes away the skoda badge and I can get painted to hide that chrome. Do they come ready to paint? If not how much would a body shop charge for a grill and surround?
