Featured Replies

Well first of all, hello to everyone here, hope you can be of some if not a lot of help :D

I'm wanting to get a Fabia vRS Brand New, firstly whats the difference between the pre-update version & the update version released this September.

Secondly, whats the best price I can get one at. Drivethedeal.com does it for just under

Welcome to Briskoda!

The differences between the vRS models have been discussed on here quite a bit, so you might find more info with a search.

The rear lights will be changed and the front grille is gettinging tweaked (although along with a salesman, a Fabia and a photo of the new grille I couldn't spot the difference). The plastics inside might be changing, but little if anyhting else. Except the price. Up around

Of the extra bits I got on my vRS, my favourites are the cruise control and the sunroof (which lightens up the interior a lot and improves the ventilation).

I'm still ambivalent about the Xenons - they are very good (once the dealer had re-aimed them), but uprated bulbs in standard lights would be just as adequate.

Hello there!

As far as colours go, the vRS is available in Lemon Yellow, Corrida Red, Diamond Silver (metallic) or Black Magic (pearlescent). Both the Silver & Black are an extra

hey...

when i was looking tins.co.uk was slightly cheaper than drivethedeal.... but i went direct to a dealer as they did me a good enough deal and got the car in less than a week. (red no extra's)

if you want extra's it may take a while as they will build one to your spec.... drive the deal told me 8 weeks wait and couldnt guarantee price as they may have to buy a post price rise car.... dealer said longer than that for an ordered one.... but as they have a few in the country you can get them straight away - probably not black tho as most people seam to want that colour

i think all the extras are just nice to haves, I wouldnt have minded a sunroof, but with air con you dont need it, cruise would be nice, xenons would too, cd changer sounds like a waste of money - better to just get a better head unit with MP3 or matched changer.... and the extra safety stuff may be worth it... but it all makes the cost more.... and doesnt add much to the re-sale value

(1 week old now and loving it!)

Thanks for the replies, so Tins.co.uk is the cheapest price to get one at?
