Nice Looks like white powder coated octy vRS 17" alloys to me.

Not sure if it being 001 adds anything to the price though. It's still a 2 year old car though so would imagine it would be at least 65-70% of it's RRP. That would make it around £9k. You never know though.

I think she'd make more money to sell the powdercoated spiders here (as they're soo in demand) and put a set of original alloys back on..

I saw this car on a dealer website about 18 months ago when I was searching for a vRS and it was about £3.5k more than this then! Looks nice though, love the blue.

Well that's what I would have thought too but according to a reliable source manufacturers let the critics play in the first 1 or 2 cars that come off the production line! I also think the press request this so they don't end up with some highly tuned wonder car! Then say it's the bees knees and then the normal cars turn out to be **** and they look like pratts

Didnt something like this happen with the Focus RS when it was released to the Press?? Torque steer was horrendous on the cars the journo's got but owners have said that its nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be.

Anybody wanting to know what difference it being 001 makes, I bought 946 (registered in June 07) in december from a skoda partner for £8995 and it had done 12k

So 4 months older, 12k extra mileage, and £1000 more

Yeah its up for sale, after having the occy and then going to the fabia again, it just wasnt enough for me so I am either going to get another Octavia or a complete change and get an Astra SRI.

The wheels are genuine Octavia wrc wheels so not sprayed.

It was in the dealer having the radiatior replaced and while it was there I got a FULL service.

But essentially the SE is no different mechanically and when the cars arrived in the UK (altogether) they didnt even have leather interior so I doubt there were any special press cars.
