Extra fan for IC......

Featured Replies

Been thinking about fitting a kenlowe fan to the side mount intercooler on the furby, but will it make a difference???????

well it will force more air through the IC making it colder so I guess it will, but by how much is anyones guess.

Not a difference that you would notice...

You think the size of fans that RR places use, and its still nowhere near effective.

if i were you, i would cut a section out of your wheelarch liner :)

Not if done properly.

I can see the sales of flexible ducting going up at places like B&Q...

I always wonderd why no one has ducted their aircon straight into the IC as well as the cabin. Just re-route and extend the drivers side vents ducting, surely in theory it would work? if you had it set to low :o

It would have to be routed from inside the car through the bulkhead up past the engine to the front of the car, then turned around to come through the IC. Cant see the air still being cool after all that.
