What a wonderful website

I have a yellow Fabia vRS which I am having chipped tommorow (08 sept 04) at a skoda dealer

and will have the Insurance to go with it

I will report back later with my review.

There do seem to be a lot of dealers offering remaps recently.

Any idea what company they are using?

superchips

Welcome to the site.

If you don't mind me asking, how much they charging?

For a Superchip!!!!

Ok , so superchips don't represent the greatest VFM , but if the dealer is prepared to fit one without invalidating your warranty then that is a big thing in its favour.

A lot of people aren't prepared to pay 12-15k for a car then lose the warranty straight away.

welcome fellow furby owner!

The dealer doesn't have to fulfil the warranty, Skoda UK do. I haven't heard that their attitude to chipping has changed. If it has, that's great news!

Oh I know its skoda who say no to warranty claims , but if the dealer is mod friendly and happy to forget to mention the chip when processing them............
