The boss and I went to the Geneva Motor Show 09 on Saturday. A really long day (there and back in the same day), I took quite a lot of pictures which I've uploaded to PB for you to see. I'm afraid I am no David Bailey which will become immeditely evident when you see the pics but you'll get the idea.

I like the yeti photo, don't know what I was doing wrong but I didn't see any models anywhere. I'll try and upload my photos tonight.

Liking the audis... not liking the new Golf GTI

It was a good but long trip, there and back same day.

Nope no Mazda's Col - Not my bag I'm afraid.

New GTi is quite nice but hardly justifies being the MK6 as it's little more than a facelift.

One of my favourite cars there was the white A4 Avant (4th pic down on this page) - Looks almost like an S model but was only a 2.0 TDi. Pity my pictures of that were really poor.

Love the Citroen and Peugeot concepts :eek:

Probably my mate's photos. I was snapping away on my compact Panny TZ3 like a twitchy Jap tourist on MIRGOS's budget red bull. He was doing it properly with steady hands and a Canon 40D.

As to the power cut comment, my mate complained about the unevenness of the lighting. Having not done a show like that before he was struggling to get the shots he wanted. He also complained about the white cars being difficult to photograph so I'll use that excuse too. The Alfa stand had great cars (and girls) but neither he nor I could get any good photos.

Mine were taken with SWMBO's Canon 400 which is the extent of my photography knowledge

Some nice pics there chaps, especially of the Fabia S2000.

The interior of the Yeti appears to be based on that of the Golf 6, although I must say I prefer the way the Skoda one is finished, looking at the pictures.

Do we think the Fabia vRS is finished spec. Looks pretty production ready to me. Any ideas what was under the bonnet? You've probably been asked a thousand times. Just interested.

It 'was' an A4. The wheels look S Line don't they.

Would love to have a road-going Fabia rally car in team colours, just to shove one up all the Scooby drivers with their sticker laden STi's !!
