Briskoda National Trackday 2

Featured Replies

It will be interesting to see how the people on the 'other side' react to getting there arses kicked all day by a load of Skodas. :D

The "other side" won't be all that big - I only see about 6 non Skoda related cars there, including Si and the 205 as a "Skoda" of course, and the citreon. ;)

Trouble is those 6 cars all look pretty damn quick! :( I spy a 200HP Westfield amongst them. Think I'll be a mobile chicane on the day as well!

I think that atom is the quickest machine there.....

Yep, I spoke to Jon yesterday - it is not quick :( It is feckin' insanely rapid :D He doesn't race cars anymore, he prefers to pick on bikes . BTW, just how quick is a Bandit 1300? He beat one of them in a drag race

Oh and he said I can borrow it, providing I fit (everything is fixed) as I'm average height and he's a dwarf ;)

Hell, I'll have a go, even if my knees are around my chin when my feet touch the pedals!

Passengers are OK, but driver is fixed position (pedals, wheel etc).

You might get a pax lap, as for driving it, ummmmm, really really doubt it.

driving is not essential - a passenger ride would give enough of a taste for my liking!

Would anyone consider letting Jason driving their knob on car?

No offence Jase

maybe I need to take peeps out first to show I can drive without resorting to aerial acrobatics. ;):D

The round black things on each corner would come off easier though in the Atom :D

Jason driven mine in the past...........................so thats why it broke

And you mine... :D So, you can pay for the ARB I just had renewed. ;)

I enjoyed that little swapsy around - I wonder if Anglesey will allow similar experiments when the tracks quiet... :)

Anyone is more than welcome to a passenger lap around the place.

I just have to pray that everything comes together as at the moment the supercharger has a gap between it and the engine!

Hectic two weeks but all will finished in time for topgear I hope :)

As for the driving, sorry but there was only one person i'd stupidly trust, and as I am average height and he is a giant, i dont think he will fit!

As for quick, nah mines not that fast!

Like your skodas mine is totally standard with only 30bhp and 25ftlb of torque

 fair play! I wouldn't trust me in that thing either! :D Looks nice in the avatar! I think I'd get more enjoyment as a passenger with a skilled driver behind the wheel, than me trying to get used to it. I look forward to a lap or two I hope - I'll repay the favour, so will give you a chance to get some sleep with my tractor... ;)

Did someone mention skilled driver?

Like your skodas mine is totally standard with only 30bhp and 25ftlb of torque

Same amount of BHP as my splitty had before a porsche engine fell in the back :D

OK... Lemme rephrase that. ;)

"A driver of dubious skill level, but who at least knows his car, compared to someone who's not even ever seen an atom, let alone got behind the wheel." :D

Is that a more appropriate statement. :D

I'm still looking forward to it, whatever you say about your ability to drive. Gonna be a sight to behold seeing that zip round!

It should be fun, and I hope that i can live up to any expectations.

TaviaRS is mad enough to have driven with me before, infact hes even lent me his car to drive around the Nurburgring in!

The car was a standard Atom, and then had a few mods. I think there isnt one item now that is actually standard on the car.

The engine is going for a remap in a weeks time, and I am hoping that with the new design of plenum...hours of reading!!!....it should see inexcess of 300 horses!!

Oh and the car only weighs in at about 500kgs :)

If it is true im going to have to change my name!

Yes it is Jason :D

Jon has as much aptitude behind the wheel as a hippo does on rollerskates :D

Sorry if the truth hurts mate :(

;)

oooo you bitch

and are you trying to say i have a big ar5e?

Nope, I'm trying to say you couldn't drive a well greased pointy stick up a dead dogs ar5e :P

;)

I don't care - it sounds more and more fun! 600hp a ton, eh?

but would i want to?

Anyhow whilst your playing with dead dogs, im going to be setting lap records!

Who has the most hair though :D
